Sorry . I haven't been in the chatbox for a long time. I should make the effort to remember to check it.
=================================================================================
I finally after waiting many more weeks than I should have, I got my mark back for my Psychology assignment and my final Psychology quizzes, which collectively are worth 60% of my final mark. I got 91% for my assignment and with my final quiz scores, my average for the quizzes is 93%.
I is a very happy chappy currently.
Wish they'd give me my anatomy assignment and Biochemistry assignment marks back already though. Anxious to see my scores.

Oh yeah, totally legit XD
I've had a few of these come through before. One was like for 2 million dollars. I also had an email from a company that found me on a job search site asking to transfer money in and out of my account for a slice of it... how stupid do they think I am? lol.

I wouldn't trust it if I were you Trick, especially because they said they are going to put over 8 million dollars in you bank account.
I finally got back from a week long stay at my state's capitol. I went there for a thing called 'Boys State', it's where you go with 400 other guys your age and learn about federal government, it was hard to get used to the place at first, mainly because I stayed on the seventh floor and we weren't allowed to use the elevator. My legs have never felt this tired.

Wow, your legs must be super muscled now! Some where I used to work had 17 floors and we were at the 12th, the elevator used to break down frequently, because they had just soldered new parts to old
Luckily if that happened there was somthing we could do elsewhere, but there were some people who had to walk up all those stairs!

Yeah and Trick, not that you dont know already, but those emails are scams. Most of them are somalians or africans trying to grab your money so they can come over to england. Im not joking. Its the same thing as women who use dating sites meeting an african 'prince' who then uses the money you send to come over here illegally. There was a whole documentary on the BBC about it a while back.
That or they will use your account for money laundering. Either way the delete button is your friend

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
Of course something went wrong when I exported the flash file as an .avi. The animated texts in the movie don't show up for some reason. Everything else is there, but apparently some simple fade ins/outs is more than what could be handled.
From what I learned after googling it, I need to use a separate software if I want to convert swf.'s (which Flash can export just fine) to avi.'s. Sometimes I don't think anything you do with a computer is worth the constant hassle; there's always something that doesn't work.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
School is finished for me. THANK GOD!
You won´t believe how much things I can do now. I was totally imprisoned by school this year. 3 months of not worrying will help me survive next year.
Also, this Sunday I am going on a trip with school. I am gonna be off for 5 days. I am pretty excited, since we are going to go through a few islands, few national parks and cities on our way. Each afternoon is free, so we can do whatever we want by then. Best plan I have seen for now...

@Damna, is that for that flash movie you are working on? That sucks I have barely a clue how to convert anything to anything on computers.
@Milk have fun with your break
============================================================================
Urgl, tomorrow is my first final exam. Anatomy. Got the gitters, but out of all my exams Anatomy is the one I'm least worried about. Biochemistry is next monday, which is the one I'm more than a bit stressed about.

Yes, and I've actually never done any converting before. I'll bet there's some confusing process you have to go through, there are always some of those. So for the moment, I've simply put that aside for another time.
Instead, I play Mass Effect which I purchased through download yesterday. Great game, I must say! Bioware sure know how to make good RPG's, I've been convinced of that after having played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, plus its sequel, and Jade Empire. I like just about everything in ME, I feel so addicted by it. Can't wait to continue playing it tomorrow.

I've never played ME although Ive always wanted to. I love Bioware's games, the detail they put into them is really good.
Hm, with the conversion thing, that sucks. Most programms just have a save as or convert to this button. It might be that you have to compress somthing or the over first. I would help you more, but I've never used flash and Im totally clueless on the file extensions it uses.
If I were you Id just look for a tutorial/guide online, there must be some maybe on the flash website/forums? Good luck in any case

After being Xboxless for the longest time I am probably going to be getting a new one sometime today. I am rather happy as I have so much money to waste on a bunch of games like Portal 2 and Red Faction.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
I just realized that a German I recently had a discussion with indirectly insulted me on my use of language.
Basically, when I talked to him, I chose to speak high german, because that is the initial reaction of any Swiss German who meets a German they don't know well. In our discussion, he told me how mad he gets at the Swiss who then choose to pretend to know how to speak german despite their sometimes bad pronunciation or choice of grammar. I give him that but it's technically not our first language per se.
At the time, I didn't think about it, but when a German comes to Switzerland and isn't familiar with our Swiss dialects, it is our responsibility to speak high german, it's not like they take classes to learn how to speak swiss german because they 'know' we all speak german like them, so the last thing I we want to hear is that we don't speak proper german because we already have to adapt to a foreigner coming here.
And then he went on about how slow we are in our thought process and that as a German you can quickly loose your patience. Well, in that case he better get used to our mentality when choosing to live here.

Wow, Andy, that was a bit rude of him! I agree with your point, but its best to ignore him, you were polite and that's what matters.
This reminds me of when I was living in Germany for a very short time. I was fairly young but I remember going to the little market to get food. My mum would do her best to speak German despite never learning it before then and the majority of people there appreciated this.
The thing that annoyed me is because we were on the Army housing site there were mainly English people there and they largely didnt go out side of their comfort zones (using the army facilities for shopping ect) Alot of them carried the idea that they were in Germany where Germans knew how to speak english, so where was the point in learning German? Some even did the whole, we won the war routine.
Ignorance like that really, really annoys me.
