Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
I think it was an alien, it must have been! It makes sense, because a large, mysterious circle-shaped object was recently discovered on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. And we all know the only thing that could possibly be: A flying saucer! Or it could just be a circular shaped natural formation.. No, that can't be possible, I'm certain it's a crashed UFO. And now the aliens are secretly wandering the Earth looking for ways to phone home.

I think my efforts to make myself less tired are already starting to give results. The time I managed to study yesterday compared to most other days was approximately 6000% longer!
More specifically, 30 minutes compared to 30 seconds

I should probably do something similar. Lately I have the attention span of a sponge and the willingness to do work of a house cat. Need to get back in the game.

The job that I thought I had been done with for a week called my up 2 days ago and said the urgently needed someone to help them with a festival they had. Since money is money, I decided to do it.
Little did I know the festival was the laneway festival, which is more or less Sydney's annual hipster festival.
While I didn't like the personality or ideals of hipsters, I thought maybe that all the jokes about hipsters were just exaggerations, but no. That festival confirmed every stereotype there are about hipsters.
I have never seen so many pairs of think rimmed non-prescription glasses or incredibly tight pink shorts in my life.

From what I've heard London is a fun place to visit.------------
Once again I dive back into the world of study and learning. I plan to change my habits this year. While I have improved my study and thus my mark with each successive semester since I've started uni, I want to achieve the best results possible this year.
My hope is to be in the top band for every subject. Considering my subjects this year, that won't be an easy task, but my plan is to more or less live at uni. Get there very early, leave very late.
Going to be a stressful year, but I feel I can handle a year of drudgery if it means in the end I'll have the most opportunities available to me.
I figure its worth sacrificing a year, if it means greater success in my eventual career.

Good luck, Remi. I hope you'll do well, just don't overwork yourself too badly. I can tell you it's not pleasant to feel overworked and like you won't be able to take another day of studying when you still have many hard months ahead of you.

I hope everything works out well for you. I've started this week as well. Time to dive into massive reading about linguistics.

I'm great! I got my new digital piano just yesterday, the Yamaha P-95. It's awesome and I've been playing it so much that my fingers are literally bleeding! Well, there are actually just traces of a tiny amount of blood under one of my thumbnails, but I bet it's because I've been playing so much.

The P-95 is one of the best Digital Grands on the market. I'm just using the DGX 530 right now. I'm intending to move away from traditional piano and into the synth / workstation realm.
Right now I'm saving up for the Yamaha PSR S910.

I remember those types of assignments. Never fun having to do presentations, especially if you've got a strict teacher. Good luck Blaze.
Reminds me of the fact that for my Topics of Physiology subject in the coming semester, I have to do a 15 minute presentation on the subject of the week. Worth 40% of my final grade
and I really hate public speaking.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well as of yesterday, our little family grew by one. Not a new baby, but a new puppy. Though funnily enough, none of us were expecting it.
We have a guy doing some work on our house (re-tiling the bathroom, fixing lights). He wasn't supposed to turn up yesterday, but at around 2 o'clock his van appeared outside and he walked up to the door with a small fuzzy object.
He then asked us if we wanted this random puppy his dog had. Ironically we've been debating whether we should get another dog to give butters some company for a few months now and when we saw its little face, we had no choice but to take it.
She's a Shihtzu/Maltese. Looked it up. Surprised he would just give it to us. Those dogs can be worth up to $500.
Since my brother named ewok, and my mother named butters, I was given the job of naming her.
Went through about 15 possible names, but came to the conclusion I'd name her "Nubs" when she started biting (teethed on) my finger.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
I was asked by Ben to say hi and that he's sorry he's been inactive for a while but as usual life got in the way, with a little drama in-between. I myself am quite busy with the community play I'm in. We're opening in two weeks.
Today, I have to look for some clothes and shoes to finish my costume. At least it's sunny and it will get a bit warmer later today.
Yesterday, due to my acting experience a couple of the actors asked me if I wanted to direct the next play in their group. I said yes. ^^

After months of work on our new house, my family and I have finally moved in!
I got a bigger room, and a bigger computer. Even though I have to walk a long way to school, I am pretty happy about everything. This location is perfect...
Also been drawing more lately. Have more space, have more time, awesome.

This is a video that I hope as many of you as possible will watch. Awareness needs to be raised about Joseph Kony, and simply watching this video and sharing it will help with that.
