What's Your Favorite Video Game Music/Theme?

Come on. We all have a favorite theme song on a videogame that we love to look up on Youtube and jam out to. This is the place to post them. Razz

Rules:
-Follow the Guidlines
-No spamming, flaming, or anything like that.
-Don't discuss the videogame the theme relates to here, we have a whole section for that.

Music makes a game that much more interesting and immersive. Some are better than others, some will always be favourites.

So what are your favourite game soundtracks? They can be retro ( tetris FTW! ) or new, unheard of or an obvious favourite and from any type of game. Don't forget to post a video of the music, if you can so others can enjoy and discuss it too!

I absolutely love the soundtrack to mafia.

The opening theme song is probably the best soundtrack to a game I've ever heard. Give the game a movie like feel.

Frosmoon will LOVE this topic since it is his fave type of music anyway.

Freelancer has an epic soundtrack. All the music is movie style in that it reflects the mood of where you are. During battle you get a dark and fast tune, in asteroid fields it is sort of suspenseful and in friendly space you get some uplifting music.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 has some great tunes in it that you can decide to use, none of the tunes in it are set to play at set times, you get to choose which songs play when.

For some reason this song from timesplitters 2 has always stuck in my mind. even though it has been years since I played timesplitters 2, I still remember this one very well.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise it was a duplicate :S Thank you for merging the two together! Next time I will be more thorough in my searches.

Anyway,

I find the music from Okami breathtaking. It all fits with the game beautifully, this is my favourite track. Played at paticularly sad scenes:

It's really really old, but this one is definetly the best score I've heard in any game.

Can I just say that GTA and Burnout have awesome soundtracks. However, that is mainly because they have a choice of them through radio stations or allow use of your own music lists. Gran Turismo 5 and Wipeout allow you to use your own music as well, though I don't like (with one exception) any of the music that comes with either of those games.

Mario 64 music is my all time favorite. Hearing the tune instantly brings back memories. It's amazing.

- (425,350) is the pixels in W/H these can be changed to make the clip larger, tho idk how big you are allowed to make 'em:P

Still alive is damn awesome.

GTA has good music because you can have your favourite music put into it. Mainly. It's own theme somehow manages to sum up the story in chronological order, but it has that semi-rap gangster theme to it which I don't like much.

So Still Alive as the portal Theme, and GTA as the ingame music as I can really have any music I want.

However, I must say the ingame music for Portal 2 is reeeally good especially close to the end, very fitting.
