-_- screwed it up
Seeing as I haven't done this in forever, I've forgotten how exactly to uninstall Spore
I'm attempting to return to creating, but my SPORE CD isn't working, so the most suggested plan of getting back is to uninstall and reinstall. But seeing as I haven't uninstalled anything in a long, long time, I'm not exactly sure how to anymore. Help?
EDIT: Nevermind, i uninstalled without checking to see if I still had the packet with the code that comes with the game. I can never create ever again. Only option now is to buy a new game and start all over There goes 4 years of hard work down the drain

If I did buy a new game and start over, do you think you guys could possibly (if you want to) help me out? you know, advertise? (sorry if I sound conceited)

Hmmm.....I'm not sure whether EA do this, but I know Adobe and OnOne do.
Email them asking if you could get them to send you your serial number. Adobe just gave me CS5 back, because they used my email address to authenticate my identity. As you registered Spore, and have a Spore account, they can most likely just search their database for your serial number you used to register with.
All is not lost my friend After all, if you DID buy a new game you could just log in with your old account

@Marky: (btw congrats as mod) you mean i can still sign in as Blazeer even though i've uninstalled this game? And what should i say in the email?
Re: -_- screwed it up
Blaze, you could loog on to ANY machine with Spore, even if that copy has been registered to someone else. However, if it is a new install, it must be linked to an account first.
If you hadn't have uninstalled it, there is a method for retrieving your serial code using regedit - a guide is available through the master help thread on the sporum (also uninstall and reinstall guides are there too).
If you need to email EA, just be honest with them, as long as you send it using the registered email address there should be few issues. Just explain that you have lost your key. Worst comes to worst, I am sure the game is available dirt cheap where you are now, so shouldn't be a biggy.
