I pay £9.99 a year for the domain. I paid 99p for it last year Wink

I own three other domains which I barely use. As already pointed out, many forums and websites allow donations. Forumotion has a built-in option to aid you in this.

If I was paying silly amounts, I'd be asking for subscriptions to EuroSpore.

This is a question I ask myself as well.

Vek: To put your own money into a website which benefits dozens of people and not ask for a single donation, let alone even a "thank you", is quite noble. I for one would like to thank you for your continued dedication to this community, despite the lack of respect some members might show you.

Due to a combination of financial concerns and low forum activity, I am considering not renewing the domain name this year. It is due for renewal at the end of April, however, if the cost goes down to 99p again, I will renew it. Currently it will cost £9.99.

Bare in mind, if I do not renew, the cost (for me) will be around £30 for a year if I choose to purchase it again within three months of me allowing it to expire.

Luckily, all my other domains do not need renewing til next year (one of them I now own until 2015)
