YouTube needs an auto-suspend function that targets anyone leaving hateful comments. The utter insensibility displayed is unbelievable. Facepalm

YouTube should get rid of the ability to select a custom screenshot (I hate those annoying shock images) and allow us to block certain users so their videos won't show up anywhere, anymore.

How do I go about these requests?

Nice ideas, though they probably won't happen. I particularly wish the blocker certain users videos part.

What I find most annoying on youtube is how people try so desperately to make the video title sound like a viral video in the hopes the video will go viral, but even the big youtubers do it e.g "MAULED BY A BEAR!!!!", "FISH SLAPS MAN!!!" etc etc etc.......

I find it very annoying and viral videos don't normally even have titles like that anymore, so I don't know why people insist on using over the top titles like that.

A big youtube fail is when they added advertisements before the videos

1. Nobody pays attention to them
2. They don't watch the video cause they don't wanna sit through ads
3. They're just plain stupid

What I like most is how those "viral" videos have production credits at the end.

Like they're the fricken' Blair Witch Project.

@Blaze: Those stupid ads pay for the site. Otherwise we'd all have to pay membership.

No but what he means is, if there were no ads, they would make it so you couldn't view the videos at all without making a paid account. You wouldn't be able to get around not paying to watch videos that easily Razz

They could make it so you can only watch a video with a free account only, but with a paid membership you are allowed to post videos and comment.

probably. I remember they were going to implement something like that a couple years ago, but it naturally never took off, but thats when they started introducing ads.

If you were still able to watch the videos on youtube without an account, what would you be paying for with an account? The ability to comment? Razz

The only way they might get someone to pay is to upload videos, but even that would be stupid as little youtubers would dissapear as they wouldn't be able to afford to make videos or they wouldn't want to pay for only a couple hundred people to watch their little vids. Also no one would release viral videos anymore as, most viral videos come from little youtubers

Use this topic to share YouTube videos you find annoying, bad or just plain horrible.
The point of this thread isn´t to diss any users, but merely to see how bad some things can be, all in a decent mood.
Also bear in mind that something you find funny, someone else might find annoying. Also the other way around so let us respect eachother´s opinions. Wink
