I think the greatest boon to the DS forum is the fact that the mods and admins there are amazing. I know most of the moderators, and they're all really good people. And Maxis has set the bar impossibly high for community interaction, they're practically a part of the community itself.

If things stay this way, I seriously doubt Darkspore will go the tragic path of Spore.

Ehh, DSporum is what the Sporum was 2 1/2 years ago. When EA cracks the whip and forces the Maxis staff to migrate to a different project, that forum will collapse as well. The nature of video game forums...

Darkspore needs subtitles. That would make the game moar epic. I love the game but early on, I was one o the people updating the young Darkspore wiki with info. HELIX's voice is not the eaiest to understand >_<

I assume the forums are pretty much dead. I mean they peaked before the release of the game. That might be saying something.

I still have yet to think about buying the game. Sadly never really had much if any desire to buy it.

As for the forum out of a bit of boredom I went to look at that forum. Looks like people still frequent and post there. Guess the game must still have some breath left in it.
