EuroSpore: A New Beginning

As you are no doubt aware, some changes have been made to EuroSpore today, this is partly to reflect the way the community has evolved and partly for a change of scenery. This is the comprehensive list of changes.

Also, many of you may know this already, but Bmpalmann is no longer part of the Moderation team, this was his choice as he is doing exams and is looking to reduce his distractions. We here at EuroSpore wish him luck in these exams and hope to welcome him back to the fold after these are over.

Major Modifications
-Complete Category and Forum Restructure.
-Complete Graphics Overhaul.
-Updated the Rules and Guidelines
-New Forum Portal.
-User Activation as opposed to Admin Activation.
-Video Games orientated Profile updates.

Minor Modifications
-Candyland is no longer a Home Country Option.
-New contact fields.
-Some Smilies have been dropped, and others have been replaced.
-Rankings Updated.
-Updated Various Stickies.
-Renamed a couple of groups.

Credits

The entire Moderation deserve credit for the ideas put forward for this overhaul... it has been 6 weeks in the making.

Andeavor deserves special credit for the Portal and Code of the forum for more advanced options.

MarkyDMan deserves credit for all the custom graphics he has made.

Thanks to SuperLoki and Arkanay who re-organised all the sections so that the topics are properly located.

As part of the refocus, you will have noticed that the forum has specific sections for types of games. To help these sections thrive, it is up to you to help bring new members to the forum. Invite your friends (and family) who have an interest in gaming. Advertise EuroSpore on other gaming forums you may frequent and make your friends on PS3, Xbox and other platforms aware that there is somewhere they can come to discuss their gaming needs.
