I can't believe there's a RTS section in here without a thread on Starcraft!

Come here to discussion strategies, the campaign, recent matches, achievements, etc....

I'll start!

I just got SC2 a few weeks ago, and I'm already having lots of fun! I've already lost 90% of my public matches, and my strategy is a bit lacking, but I'm trying as hard as I can to develop new techniques and ideas to help win the game. Smile

I have yet to try that game, though I hear its awesome. Blizzard has a habit of making games that people get addicted to.

There is an actually addiction to starcraft, I remember reading an article about it, can't remember what they named the addiction though.

They even made a university course in one American university, dedicated to starcraft 2. The excuse is "It allows for strategy building and improvement of cognitive abilities" or something like that, but its pretty obvious some professor just wanted an excuse to play starcraft all the time Razz

Starcraft 2 is pretty cool, although I haven´t picked it up in months.
The Campaign was pretty sweet but I also had a great time playing online.

Protoss is my favourite race to play with and towards the end (when I stopped playing) I could feel I had improved greatly from when I started.

My Stalker mini-army swallowed any rushing marines. Cool

I've never been much of an RTS fan, but I ended up trying it out when my brother bought the game.

It's a good game, graphically, anyways... I really don't know much about RTS's considering that I never play them.

Anyhow, I didn't really enjoy SC II, but that's probably just because it's not my style of game. And because I was terrible at it. : P

I played SC2 a lot when I first got it. I lost a lot, but I had fun. Then I got bored, then I played again, and then came LBP2. Very Happy

I own the game but I hardly play Razz

I generally suck at RTS games... But for when I get really bored of other online games I'll pick this up and actually try to remember a build order Very Happy

Lol I see one build order, remember it for about three days, then move on to another one Razz

Today, I got placed to Silver 2v2 with N-Minus (also from Spore). I'm trying to finish the placement matches on 1v1, but everybody I fight keeps on Void Ray spamming D:
