Pokemanz!!!

I just started playing FireRed from so long ago, I just found it 3 days ago.
I'm almost ready to go against Misty with
Lv. 25 Wartortle
26 Mankey
22 Pikachu
27 Nidorino
21 Pidgeotto


I overtrain because all I remembered was that I couldn't even touch the elite 4 with level 40-45 pokemon. I plan on getting a Zapdos so I can throw out Pidgeotto and Pikachu.

I've played all of the generations of pokemon, I like the first two generations the best. I bought White a long while ago and I got halfway through it, and I never bothered to finish it, the new games don't seem as fun as they use to be. Maybe I'm too old for it too, Parka!

I restarted my FireRed version about a week ago, and I started out training the same pokemon that you are! I always kept Nidoking though, he's the best.

When did scottish terriers and hermit crabs become pokemon?

My LG team is as follows:

Firenze (lv 84 Venosaur)
Specter (lv 79 Haunter)
Tremor (lv 83 Steelix)
Aurora (lv 85 Gyarados)
Cinder (lv 80 Ninetails)
Neptune (lv 82 Lapras)

Haven't played it in a while though :/ I put that team together in a couple weeks

Nidoking is just too good to pass up, I think.

I did have one, but ended up passing it up in order to more diversify my team :/

Lol. This is what bothers me so much about the new versions. The originality, I feel, has been lost and it seems like he just focuses on random objects and stick anime eyes on them.

Still, I'm considering trying it out, the seasons seem like a cool edition. I would totally port my pokemons from other versions over too as I have a pretty set team. Or I did have. I don't know if my sister has 'traded' them over to her games

Lol, I can even tell which part of the game you are from your team... Personally, I'm not a big fan of grass types. You'd be best served with Blitzle than Petilil. And I really hate that fire monkey. Darumaka is a much better alternative at that point.

But then again, we sometimes stick with some critters just because we like their looks, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I personally have nothing against Grass types, and I love how they are so tough to wear down (except for the Fire, Flying Bug and Ice types, but I have those covered already).

I interestingly substituted Sigilyph in for a higher-level Musharna to add more speed to the team. Even though it is weak to the entire fourth Gym, it can get a Tailwind in (and possibly a Psybeam too) to speed up my Simisear and finish off the Emolga quicker.

Emolga is just the most cheap b**ch you could ever find. I specifically brought Dwebble in as a Rock-type defence against the Emolga (as I couldn't be bothered to train up the Roggenrola from earlier. I also taught it Dig to give it a fighting chance against Zebstrika.

The great thing about Simisear is that it is the only elemental monkey (and the only one of the six "starter" types) with no weakness to any of the leader's attacks. I evolved it as soon as it learned Flame Burst, anything to replace the crappy Incinerate attack.

As for the other two, Dewott is in there as it is my starter, and Herdier can bring some starting muscle with Take Down.

That is my explanation for my team, if you have suggestions for my position (the 4th Gym) then I will take them.

I have no idea who most of those are Still uneducated in the new pokemon

Pokemon B/W reminds me of a PETA Rally. That is not a good thing.
