I remember very very vaugely that they said somthing about HD support... I didn't put anything up on it because it was one of those passing tweets I think.

But basicly, I think this is on its way, not 1.8, maybe not even 1.9 but it's somthing they are looking into. Half the reason I stick with vanilla textures is I'm too damn lazy to patch all the time and also... my mods D:

So I'd love to see HD support.

Yeah, HD support and better mod support is planned but that's not intended to be a part of 1.8 or 1.9.

That will be good when they get round to it. The API will be good to see too.
