As some of you may know, I have created an entire group of "captains" in my Vekarran series. I thought it would be good to outline them in one place, partly for myself, and partly for you guys, and your input.

Political Vekarrans
The political system is bicameral (two houses, just like the UK and USA). The system is very similar to the UK, actually, the "main" house is populated by elected members and these are referred to as "Politicians". The second house is unelected and appointed by the Politicians, but approved by the Monarch, these are referred to as "Courtiers". However, unlike the UK, the second house of Courtiers gets to debate legislation first and it must be approved by the Politicians in the first house. The Monarch signs all acts that are passed, but they can send it back to the house to be changed.
Spiritual Vekarrans
Vekarrans are split into three main groups, spiritually. Those that follow Spode, those that follow Anti-Spode and those that follow neither. Although none of these states of belief are in anyway forbidden, those that follow neither are viewed with a general disdain. In the main, Vekarrans are rarely overtly in any of these camps as religion is viewed as very much a private pursuit. This does not, however, mean that churches and cathedrals aren't full during worship, but the services do tend to be meditative and understated, no matter which side of the Religious divide you fall.
Working Vekarrans
Military Vekarrans
The Vekarran Military is split into two distinct parts, "Royal" and "Civilian". During most of the history of Vekarra the two work together, and are usually commanded by the same Commanders and Generals. Your choice as a soldier is to join depending on your political bent, although the "Royal" arm of the military tend to be more highly trained and fewer in number.

Bragerat
The Bragerat is the largest creature you will encounter on Vekarra without the need for a diving suit. At up to 10m (though some specimens have been larger) they are large, and highly sought after by Vekarrans for it's delicious meat. Unfortunately, it is illegal to hunt Bregerat without a licence and even then, you have to be selective in the creatures you hunt. It is the law that any Bregarat families are to be left well alone.
They generally live in pairs, but they will look after their young for about a year. They are hunted by Gerartis very actively, though the Gerartis will be able to eat for two weeks from one fully grown adult. The young on the other hand tend to stick very close to their mother, and are at risk from Heamovenator packs.
They struggle to control their body heat, so have evolved fans on their tales. Generally the larger the tail fan, the more likely they are to find a mate - as they actually fan each other, since their tales are not very flexible. They also tend to remain within an area for sustanance which is why they are rarely to be found around the central regions of Vekarra.
Chuffler
A diverse species, they display many behaviours, from solitary forager right up to herding, Evolutionary Biologists have suggested that the varying strategies employed by these creatures is why they are so successful. They are approximately 1m long, but can grow much larger in some cases. They are used as both pets and meat, but Vekarrans that have them as pets generally do not eat the meat except when their pet dies as it is customary for it to be eaten, Historians are not sure of when or why this started as a tradition, but various scholars put forward the idea that it stemmed from a siege where the last things to be eaten in the city before it surrendered were all the pets, so the siegers would truly have nothing to gain.
Because they display so many herbivorous strategies they are abundant everywhere, and even on the farms they display this array of strategies, they are fascinating to watch. In the wild they are commonly hunted by Haemovenator and they sometimes compete with other herbivores for the same vegetation. They are also extraordinarily good swimmers and can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes. Also, like other Vekarran animals, the sail on their back is both good for temperature regulation and displays to others of their species.
Drakka
The Drakka is a 3-4m long herbivore that can reach up to 2.5m in height. These herbivores congregate in relatively large groups and are highly sociable. To the uninitiated, they have the appearance of a carnivorous hunter when first sighted, but they are in fact a relatively benign creature. They use their heads during mating rights, both to show off to the females and to ward off other males, this can in fact result in physical combat, which is why they evolved boney heads. The females also have a boney heads, that is because the females also fight amongst themselves for mating rights.
Recent discoveries by Vekarran Evolutionary Biologists suggest that they share a common ancestor with the Gerartis about 30 million years ago. Although only a recent development, it is already postulated that two Gerartid species were competing, and one was outcompeted and resorted to eating vegetation.
Having said this, they are a common prey for Heamovenator, and the larger Drakka are at risk from Gerartis itself. Attempts at domestication for food have been highly successful by Vekarran Scientists, as such, Drakka meat is commonplace on Vekarran dinner tables.
Gorlak
Evil is a Herbivore. At about 1.5m in length, these are highly aggressive herbivores, they are particularly aggressive towards Chufflers, but have been known to be aggressive towards Trochila as well. They generally try to monopolise an area, so they are highly territorial - despite this, they may tolerate a small number of Skrivener, and they do not seem to view other herbivores as a threat. Despite all of this, they are hunted by Haemovenator and Vekarrans alike, they are viewed as a delicacy because all attempts at domestication for farming have utterly failed.
They live in groups o between 5 and 10 individuals, generally equal numbers of males and females, though any males born within the group once they reach adulthood are then chased away from the group and expected to find another group to join.
Their skulls are made of thickened and hardened bone and the ends of their tails are made of the same stuff. Their tales are in fact extremely hazardous and could break the leg of even a Bragerat. Their hands are primarily used for scrabbling through the undergrowth and they are incredibly fast when charging at you.
Khidera
A 6m tall flightless bird, they tend to use their enormous claws to lower branches, however, they also use them during mating dances to draw a line where their competitor should not cross. Any lack of coordination during this ritual at which an individual crosses a line will result in them being killed by the other with one lash of the claw. Also used in self defence against both Haemovenator and Gerartis.
They live in small flocks of around 5-7 members and are highly social, even between groups. On regular trips to watering holes, groups will frequently intermingle and exchange group members when juveniles of either gender reach maturity. They can be domesticated, but farming is highly hazardous, so only a handful of farmers keep them. This makes their meat expensive.
Trochila
The Trochila is a long and thin armored creeper. They can measure up to 4m in length and are for all intents and purposes a solitary creature. It took biologists years to realise that despite their relative abundance in the forests, that they are in fact not herding or flocking but just randomly wandering around. The crawl around all day munching on leaf litter. They are not actively predated upon, but do tend to get outcompeted by other, larger herbivorous creatures. However, the smaller adults and young are the only live creatures that the Skrivener will actively hunt.

Gerartis
A huge 6-7m long and 4-5m tall predator, these hunt the largest herbivores on Vekarra, they tend not to pick on prey smaller than themselves, but will scavenge other kills. They are a purely solitary animal, the only time you'll see two together is during the mating season, or, more commonly, if a female is looking after her young. They are in fact relatively safe to approach in vehicles as they have evolved a fear of engine sound. Some Vekarran Evolutionary Biologists theorise that a larger predator with a roar similar to engine sound must have hunted Garartis, but have since become extinct.
Haemovenator
Translates as Blood Hunter, these are dangerous and intelligent pack hunters. They evolved from small bird-like creatures that regularly insects among the vegetation it feasted on. As they evolved to handle more and more meat, their teeth got sharper and they grew in size. They are exclusively meat eaters, however, they got their name from the fact that any Haemovenator kill is a bloodless scene. They have been observed sucking a carcass dry before eating the muscle and fat.
They live in small packs of around 5-6 individuals, generally lead by a dominant pair, the rest of the pack consist of males. Juvenile males are generally accepted into the group once mature, but females tend to go off to be solitary animals until they can find a pack without a female or usurp a female from another existing pack.
They are well adapted to almost all environments, and are not picky in terms of what they hunt, even the largest of animals is fair game. The Vekarrans tend to steer clear of them as they are the most dangerous predator on their homeworld. They reach up to 4m in length and up to 2m in height, but have hollow bones, so they are light and fast.
Skrivener
A relatively small omnivore with one large nostril that surrounds the eyes. This means they can smell rotting meat up to 5 miles away, but they are constantly hoovering up anything their path. Although their digestive system is not terribly efficient, they appear to be immune to ingesting almost anything. Some Vekarran Biologists have conducted experiments on these creatures, feeding them scrap metal, they lived for several months before dying of what seemed like old age.
They are not regularly hunted by other creatures, but are not immune from predation, since their only defence is smell. The sail like features on the back are there to assist in temperature regulation and can be used during the mating season as part of their mating displays.
They live in nomadic groups of approximately 20 individuals of varying ages and genders, they prevent inbreeding by the virtue of not actually being very clever. Groups regularly lose individuals, who eventually find themselves joining another group. They reach lengths of up to 1.5m and heights of about 0.75m.
Skriveners can be kept by Vekarrans as pets, but these are descended from domesticated Skriveners, and are no loonger taken from the wild.

Vekarran Geography
Vekarra is a large planet in the Vekarra System, it is several small moons, none of which is inhabitable, but one is home to the Vekarran Space Fleet. Vekarra III is the Vekarran Homeworld and is sandy in colour in the main, the water has a slight yellow hue since the planet is abundant with both Yellow Spice and Sulphuric Acid. There are two major, and expansive, Mountain ranges, both of which are highly volcanic.
There are in total, 7 planets and 152 moons in the Vekarran System, of which 3 planets are inhabitabed, 2 are Gas Giants and 1 is too close to the sun star for any form of life. Of the 152 moons, 17 are inhabited, 12 are resource rich and house mining facilities and 5 used as outposts and military bases. The remaining 118 moons are generally too small or hostile to any sort of life to be concerned with.
Vekarra I : Medium-sized planet, too close to the sun for any sort of use. Highly Volcanic and the atmosphere is predominantly made of Sulphur Dioxide, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and pockets of Hydrogen and Helium. Methane is also abundant on the planet, but most of it is locked up in the vast lava lakes. There are no moons around Vekarra I.
Vekarra II : Medium-Sized planet that is only JUST inside the Goldilocks Zone, Water is only liquid at the poles whilst the equator is made up of vast deserts of Sand and Rock. No volcanoes are present on Vekarra II and the few cities that are on the planet are in around the poles. Red Spice is mined in a few locations, but most of the reserves are in the deserts.
Vekarra II has 13 moons, none of which are habitable, however, 2 are rich in resources and 1 is used as a Scientific Research Base for Military Development.

Minister: A small group of high ranking elected politicians. Made up of diplomats and ambassadors as well as particularly skilled Politicians.
Politician: Think they run Vekarra. Although they do, it is only with the permission of the monarchy. Elected by the general populous.

Working Vekarrans

Working Vekarrans
Citizen
Vekarran Citizens are either unemployed or not at work. All Vekarrans have a Citizen suit and a work suit (unless unemployed).
Medic
Vekarran Medics heal the sick and injured of the Vekarran Populous.
Police
Vekarran Police Officers try to keep law and order on Vekarra.
Teacher
Vekarran teachers teach young Vekarrans the history and geography of Vekarra, and the Vekarran language. Once old enough, the children are then taught the skills required for their chosen career.
Trader
Vekarran Traders sell goods, such as food, drink and consumables, to the Vekarran populous.
Industrial
Farmer---------------Hunter-------------Miner-------------Smith----------Worker
Farmer: Exempt from military service. They busy themselves supplying Vekarra with food and drink.
Hunter: Licenced individuals trhat are permitted to hunt animals in the wild for food. They are loyal to the Monarch.
Miner: Extract spices and minerals from within Vekarra. They are also employed in the quarrying of stone, and during times of war are often sent into battle.
Smith: Turns metals into the tools, weapons and suits of the Vekarran Empire. They are skilled workers and fiercely loyal to the ruling class - no matter whom that may be.
Worker: Produce mass produced goods on production lines and in warehouses throughout the empire. A large population of notoriously fickle individuals.
Citizen
Vekarran Citizens are either unemployed or not at work. All Vekarrans have a Citizen suit and a work suit (unless unemployed).
Medic
Vekarran Medics heal the sick and injured of the Vekarran Populous.
Police
Vekarran Police Officers try to keep law and order on Vekarra.
Teacher
Vekarran teachers teach young Vekarrans the history and geography of Vekarra, and the Vekarran language. Once old enough, the children are then taught the skills required for their chosen career.
Trader
Vekarran Traders sell goods, such as food, drink and consumables, to the Vekarran populous.
Industrial
Farmer---------------Hunter-------------Miner-------------Smith----------Worker
Farmer: Exempt from military service. They busy themselves supplying Vekarra with food and drink.
Hunter: Licenced individuals trhat are permitted to hunt animals in the wild for food. They are loyal to the Monarch.
Miner: Extract spices and minerals from within Vekarra. They are also employed in the quarrying of stone, and during times of war are often sent into battle.
Smith: Turns metals into the tools, weapons and suits of the Vekarran Empire. They are skilled workers and fiercely loyal to the ruling class - no matter whom that may be.
Worker: Produce mass produced goods on production lines and in warehouses throughout the empire. A large population of notoriously fickle individuals.

Rocketeer: Highly skilled mobile warriors that pack an enormous punch.

Vekarran Rebels are a rag tag band of individuals. They are made up of every class of society, and go against both Royalists and Republicans. The Elite are generally highly trained ex-military.

Rebel Leader

Used by the Military, the large circular Anti-Gravity Generator is exposed, though re-enforced, this is a weak point for any vehicle. Not the fastest vehicle in the universe, but can pack a punch.

Just discovered that not only are most of those no longer on the server, they weren't in my backups - strangely, I am officially confused. Oh well, I have remade and re-uploaded the Miner, the Farmer is just a miner with scythe instead of pick.
The Political and Spiritual ones will have to be completely remade, as will the other ones not viewable at the moment.
I have also made a list of almost 30 buildings I plan on making, sheesh, a lot of work, at least 3 of them are nearly finished.
