Creation Advice, Tips and Crit
Point in this thread is to post a creation you're either working on, or looking to improve. Anyone can come up with any advice and tips, so long as it's helpful, and not rude. Please don't just gaze at a creation and say how amazing it is - you can leave that to comments. Compliment, but advise, unless there is no advice to give ^^

Well then, critique this:
http://www.spore.com/sporepedia#qry=sast-500567935005
I know it's not all that great, but it looks somewhat better in the editor, and it's my first attempt at a real-life styled car. =P

Nice idea for a thread
As for the car i would think about repositioning some of the body panels it also looks like it's got a curved base which makes it loook like it's sagging. The front of the car looks great and i like the colours you've chosen too.

Ah for this thread alone I would join this forum. It's really hard to get good critique on the sporum or sporepedia.

Supportive Critique focuses on good points and how you can improve =D
Heavy Critique is serious hammertime stuff. I don't like doing them very much, because they are often very demanding of people's skill.
Supportive Critique.
The wings are well designed, you have also used the layer method found in smaller falcon species. This is good.
The head is well made, but with all birds of prey you have made a common mistake which is all too easy for even the best creators to overlook. A falcon has a hooked beak, yes, but the curvature is ever so slight. You have to be careful no to bend *too* much ^^ It looks like a parrot beak at the moment- way too much curvature. Yet, as I say, all too common a mistake, made by many.
The body is also well constructed, but might be considered a little too stocky. Might just be the .gif image. Remember that falcons are small birds of prey, and their body is relative to their wingspan.
A good work overall, well done.
Critique end. Helpful?

Yes very, and I have an explanation for the super-curved beak. That part looks really goofy if you don't bend it ever so much. I really wanted a cyborg look for it, so I used a outfitter part. Plus, I just used the first raptor name I could think of, so falcon was a random thing. I guess it worked out though.

Re: Creation Advice, Tips and Crit
Working on my latest, but I can't decide on what colours to use. The Dragon is.. kinda evil, but the Sun colours seem to work well, too. No idea D:
Sorry it's small, and single sided, but I've worked quite hard on this (for once) and want am being a bit secretive :3 Either of these or any variations would be great. I just considered making the white on the third one a little darker/redder.

I like the one in the top left the most. Although the white seems... almost too white. Maybe darken it up a little bit and make it slightly more bluer/greyer?

Re: Creation Advice, Tips and Crit
Well, gotten a couple of opinions, and it seems the first one is agreed upon.
As for the Sun colours Vektrix and Jezrhen likes, I was thinking that if I don't use that colour, I'll adapt the Dragon in the future for it.
Thanks alot guys, you've been very helpful

Hmm either the 1st or the 4th. The 1st is the best of the first 3 and the 4th (the colorful one) is just completely different (in a good way)
