AUGH LAG

It is very annoying when you want to play an adventure, but it lags so bad you can't move your captain. Even if you set your graphics to the lowest. =_o

Does anyone have any help for lag? This refers to GA.
It might simply be the super complex adventure I was trying to play, but...

Sometimes when adventures are all maxed in complexity, it can lag badly, even with graphics on lowest. For me, when it´s one of those adventures, it takes so long to load, sometimes almost 10 minutes. And then when it loads, sometimes there´s a slight lag.

Maybe your computer needs a scan to check any potential threats that might be slowing down your cpu and get rid of them.

Or maybe if you defrag your cpu, it will very likely increase its speed.

Its probably like Ark said, just an overly complex mission. Missions, escpecially ones with tons of effects, tend to lag up something shockin'.

I defragged it not too long ago. :/

So it's probably just the adventure. I can remember one of Parkaboy's adventures, I think it was "Baudelair Bots", where even on minimum graphics it always really lagged at the end just because of a few spaceships fighting each other. After a while, when most of the pirate ships had been destroyed, it was playable again. Fortunately, there weren't any objectives during this battle so you could just wait for it to finish before doing anything else. So, basically, it's probably just the adventure.
