@Flux, I've heard of Jason and The Argonauts. Awesome Roman theatrical music. Also the 80's rock song makes me feel happy for some odd reason. Upbeat sound.

@Ben, I've heard that second song a lot, but never knew who they were. I like it. the drummer sort of looks like the singer from The Foo Fighters Razz

That's because it's Dave Grohl frontman of the Foo Fighters, and used to be the drummer in Nirvana. He's also done drumming with Queens of The Stone Age and the Prodigy to name a couple.

I can see where you're coming from, there is a brand of American Alt rock which is very generic. I find Nickleback and Foo Fighters are a part of this sound, Nickleback more so than Foo Fighters.
