As some of you are familiar with, I attempted to make a replacement/fix for the whole Aquatic Stage scenario.

Well now I'm bored and have more time on the PC. So I'd like to make a better version. More features, more diversity in species, more landscapes, more... features? Basically just to improve things a little.



This is where you come in.

COMPLETELY YOUR CHOICE, you can give ideas on what the creatures (mostly all fishes) will look like. You can make some, but I'll be very strict on it, and I expect flawless animation. No real/existing marine species.



Just as you'd expect from me, I'll most likely show videos and such and shall post here. No idea how long this will take, and when I'd ever share it. I'll probably spend ages throwing in detail.

I'm not 100% sure if it's just to explore (like my first version) or with stage-like objectives (like my second version). It will certainly be made without C&C and Robot Parts.

Sounds like a nice project.

What about making a scenario with stage-like objectives and still leave it large enough to allow exploration? That could work out fine.

Well i would like to help you make some fish, if you tell me what you want roughly and the colours and i can help make them.

Thanks guys And Shadow, at the moment, I'm not entirely sure on any set theme/appearance. If anything, to look creative and not a mock-up of an existing animal ^^

Also, might want to remember with the invisible limb trick, sometimes it shows up in GA..

How do you make a creature with flawless animation?

Well, flawless wasn't the right word to use, but prefrably one that animates how it should (like these fishies, they animate like fish) and doesn't have parts flying off or attached limbs or bent spine or anything glitchy/unrealistic.

Absolutely when ever you want to. I don't plan to finish this in a simple day/week as usual

May I help as well? I'm not sure how I can do that *Fish swim animation* trick. Does your world need sand walkers? I could do that if you like. I hope this project thing turns out well for you. ^^

Do you need any building props? I have reefs and stuff. I also have a few critters but they have C&C.

How about using ideas from evolution, like

Charnia: A plant-like animal that was around about 580million years ago

Anomolocaris: Earth's first super predator around 545 million years ago.

Opibinia: A small herbivore around 545 million years ago.

Pterygotus: A large seas scorpion around 500 million years ago

Fish are around 500 million years old.

Vektrix- I haven't heard of Opibinia, but I have an old Charnia creature I can remake, and might do different versions of the sea-scorpids and Anomolocaris, thanks I might even get my Dino-book, actually...
