Minecraft Mods, Skins And Texture Packs

Ogres are a pain in the rear. Which is why I love peaceful.

Oh and what does "tame" them mean? This isn't WoW, so I'm guessing it just means finding them and putting a saddle on their back.

Give them bread or wheat. If you just put a saddle on and hop on, they'll buck you off non-stop.

- Light horses (1 bread or 4 wheat)
- Brown Horses (2 bread or 8 wheat)
- Black horses (3 bread or 12 wheat)
- Unicorns (4 bread or 16 wheat)
- Pegasus (5 bread or 20 wheat)

They may buck you off a bit afterwards, but just keep on trying and then they'll accept you. Once tamed, they don't despawn.

Odd. I must've done something wrong somewhere, because at the moment, the mod isn't working. I tried to build a saddle, just to test it out, and it wouldn't build it.

As far as I can see, the only thing I did wrong was including the mob folder into the minecraft.jar. I feel really stupid, because I can't get it to work. I hate that I stink at installing mods.

Oh! Make sure that you put the files in the correct place!

Mod--->Resources
Everything else--->Minecraft.jar

You should also download this thing called ModLoader: www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80246

Delete the META-INF folder inside Minecraft.jar after placing the modloader files inside Minecraft.jar.

This robot has 3 modes! The 3rd one (Sub-Concious Mode) means it does things without being powered on.

Green+Blue = Normal Mode
Red+Black = Eradication Mode
Black+Grey = Sub-Concious Mode

shjorm, there's three types of key "elements" to these files. Sound, Pictures, and Information.

Pictures and Information are in the "Inject to Minecraft" folder. Open up the Minecraft.JAR file, and instantly drag every information one (ones that AREN'T in Resources or Mobs) into the Minecraft.JAR. Now, in both folders, open up the "Mob" folder, and drag all of the Picture PNG folders, otherwise you're just going to have a lot of invisible mobs.

Close the JAR, take a step out of .minecraft/bin and step into Resources. Follow both folders into their folders, I think it goes [Resources >> Mods >> Sounds]. Either way, both folders have the same path. Once you get to the last folder and, in the downloaded folder, there's nothing but sound files, drag all of those into the Minecraft Resources folder. Then close everything and try it out.



I know writing it out that way might confusing, but just take it one step at a time

I'm not sure if deleting the META-INF something-like-that folder is neccessary in this mod, but it doesn't hurt to do it. And remember. Always back up your saved games and Minecraft.JAR, just in case!

It is necessary to delete META-INF.

Not deleting it gives you a black screen on start-up.

Strange. I don't think it did when I didn't do it. But, either way, whether or not you need to, it makes little difference if you do delete it.

Then again, it's Beta today (WOO!) so we'll see if mods still work.

I believe I did all of that, but I don't know.
I'll try it again later.
