Got Red Dead Redemption cus it was on sale today.

Played an hour and a half, it lives up to the hype, really fun, lots to do.

I was to get that game, but, unfortunately, it´s not out for computer.

It did seem like a great game though. Very entertaining.

I think sandbox games like that control better with a gamepad as opposed to a keyboard/mouse anyways.

Agreed. I didn't think Rock star could top themselves with GTA 4, but for a while, I was absolutely obsessed with Red Dead. I want to get the zombie expansion. looks like a lot of fun.

Zombie expansion? Oh no, not more silly zombies?

Ended up playing another 2 hours...accomplished little other than taming a stallion, hunting outlaws, and killing innocent wildlife so I could part it from it's oh so valuable skin.

Me too. Though I am much more sick of Zombies than I am Vampires, at least Vampires in Film and Video Games require some skill to defeat and understand.

But still, they're giving vampires way too many supernatural skills. First, they turn into bats, which is silly in itself, and then they give them super speed, which doesn't make sense since they're supposed to be... dead. On the other hand, zombies aren't as badass as they make them out to be. If they want to scare the crap out of me they should give those buggers super speed - creeping towards their next victim should give anyone enough time to take a shower, get a change of clothes and make some tea before whopping their ass with a candlestick.

But then again, most victims seem to go brain-dead at the sight of danger.

I find most things with zombies in them funny, for the reasons you just pointed out Andy. In reality, they would pose little threat unless you were stupid enough to stand there and wait for them to come near you. Hell it should be more scary to be dropped into a group of lions. At least lion can run fast.

I'm working on making a pool table in Halo Reach Forge. I love halo for that reason, forge has endless possibilities.

So, I beat AC: Brotherhood... what an intriguing cliffhanger they left us with again.

And those were the longest credits I've ever seen in a video game.

I didn´t know people saw credits in video games.

Unless they make them entertaining somehow.

Or if the game was truly legendary. Then I usually stay in awe after the end.

In styles of horror/action, you have Cryostasis, Metro 2033, F.E.A.R., among many others.

In the AC games, the game "continues" after the credits, as in you go back into the Animus to explore the extra memories (side quests), and since they listed everyone, from the janitor of the Ubisoft HQ to the tester in Japan, the credits took a while.

GTA has some pretty epic credits.

Most games have credits in a menu, but games that are designed to be like a movie tend to have movie style credits either at the beginning, the end, or after a certain mission. The only game I know with credits that is not like a movie is Gran Turismo 5, but those are at the beginning..

Played F.E.A.R., didn't much like it. It was too dark. Playing it hurt my eyes.

Warcraft 3 has some pretty neat credits. It shows an in-game landscape, with all different types of units passing by, while the credits roll.

It´s quite nice.

Metro isnt really that scary. It can be a bit boring at times also...

Havent played Cryostasis although it looks pretty cool and sounds as though it has a cool storyline.

Any of you played DOOM? I have seen the film many times but have never played the game. is it good?

It´s quite old, but if you´re into that genre, it´s very cool and entertaining.

And has a nice soundtrack.

I've played all the DOOM games. The original naturally is really old and is somewhere in between 3-d and 2-d, but its still fun.

DOOM 3 is then newest (which is still pretty old), but yeah its a very good game
