I have Star Wars Battlefront for PlayStation 2 and I really like it. The gameplay is addictive and unique to different characters and vehicles, which makes the game richer, since there's more strategy and diversity to it.

I've tried playing it online over the PlayStation 2 system once but the lag was making it annoying, so single player worked better for me.

Was a lot of fun. Razz

The maps were great too, especially Hoth. ^^

Development is surely easy, just take all the battles in the first two and all the ideas, comine them and update the graphics. That limits a lot of the work, then they can work on the various rasied by this and a few added extras.

indeed I say. And if they were having some many problems with deadlines, why focus on The Old Republic? From a sales view point, I'm pretty sure a new battle front game would have sold far better than this Online mmo they are coming out with. There is alot of competition in the mmo world, which means its risky for them to put focus on such a game, instead of focusing on a sequel to a game that is well loved my many many people.

Anyone here actually interested in The Old Republic?
Cos the trailers are epic, and then you see the gameplay and i thought after seeing it "that's it? It looks rubbish!" Razz
