I came across this video on YouTube, which demonstrates impressive motion-capture technology:
Now, if they created a program that can compine text-to-speech with motion-capture, we'll be closer to the holodeck than we thought.

Thats creepy how real that face looked 
Makes the face capturing stuff they did for L.A Noir look terrible, though I wouldn't be expecting that kind of realism in a game soon.
