Minecraft Servers

Purpose of the thread?

Well, to advertise servers and discuss them and their goings on. Also to keep people who play on them informed of anything important, regarding where they play.

Granted though, some of the discussion may seem a little odd, especially if haven't been on any of the servers here

Just a little update on the server.... It grew a little the past 5 months, both in playernumbers and worldcount.

We now feature 3 worlds.

Spawnworld where you spawn and build as a guest.

Creative world, you can go here once you get promoted to citizen in spawnworld. You can spawn items here and build those epic projects.

Survival world
Our latest addition. You can go here once you made citizen. this is hardcore survival and everyone is your enemy. Except in Safe city. There you can build in peace, but, in survival mode. you need to gather the resources the old fashioned way.

Visit us.... people from eurospore tend get citizen faster.

I got my server up, been busy with a friend of mine to prep it for our dual commentary. Probably will open it up to public on several occasions, but since I run it off my computer we're pretty much avoiding mass construction. Sorry if this is a problem.

I'm going to try and make the effort soon to get back into remy's server. haven't had time to minecraft it up for a while, but I'm eager to play around with the features in 1.8 and I want to see the server again. I imagine my house has probably been demolished by now

No offense, Remy, but your server has become way too big for my liking

I prefered it when there were only a few people, having fun and building great stuff. If I had the PC and the money, I'd start up a server just for Eurospore people, but I don't have the PC nor the money

What's going on on Remy's server? What has happened to my house?! I haven't had enough time lately to start up minecraft.

A Eurospore minecraft sever would be awesome. I'd donate to it, but alas I'm strapped for cash as well lately.

Agreed, Rem's server has become a lot bigger... its ok though the majority of people on there are pretty cool.

You house Remi? D: Well there were a few issues a while back and some chunks got deleted... I hope that's not what has happened. Atm most people are in survival which is a lot of fun, but I cant wait for 1.9 and the new map

I could.... But I would intergrate it with the main server. Maybe a Eurospore world? That would be feasible. A seperate world and chat where only people who applied on eurospore can build in creative mode. It's a possibility. If there are enough interested here.

I really want to build a proper dam, controlled by pistons and with realistic areas. I need a river, crap-loads of TNT or worldedit, and a lot of cobblestone/smoothstone. Creative with Eurosporeons would be great, just like the good old times on Beccas server

putting in my new IP doesn't work (yet)

About the topic of a Eurospore world: would the latecomers and primary lurkers (like myself) be allowed to participate?

I think it would apply to any member of the Eurospore forum.

There should be a limit, so to speak, so that people don't just join here to get access to our area

That's fair. I'm just saying that, though I registered and made my first post here months ago, I'm not sure whether I would really be considered a member of this community or not when it came down to it.

Well I think the line should be that they've played Spore or have been here a while.

Any news on the ES world, anyone? Red? Remy?
