Domain Announcement

Hi guys

I have just registered the domain name http://www.eurospore.eu I will in due course be transferring the current address to this. Please bare with me during this, if there are any problems, you can PM me on the Sporum or through comments.

This still means we'll be using these Forumotion functions, right? And doesn't this moving also imply that we'll be going to have to get people to donate for our site?

Anyway, great! EuroSpore deserves its own adress!

No donations will be expected, especially since the the domain cost me next to nothing.

Forumotion functions will remain, the admin area on the forum allows for this sort of thing anyway.

I pay a lot more than that for the other two, as yet, unused domains.

All I am doing is changing the web address... nothing more. You will no longer be able to get here using eurospore.eu, it will in future be www.eurospore.eu.

www.eurospore.eu now works as a domain name. Please change your bookmarks etc.

eurospore.forumotion.com should still work though...

Yes, all .eu domains are less than £1 a year atm.

I was considering just www.spore.eu, I still might get that one actually, but I suspect EA owns it.

They probably bought it out just to stop people using it. They probably won't ever use it, but they just try to stop other people making copy sites. Pretty awesome if you did make one though Vek!

Just checked and spore.eu is taken and owned by EA. They own a ton pf spore domain names, some are available but are REALLY expensive.

Just to let you guys know, I have renewed www.eurospore.eu domain for another year.

It cost a bit more this time as I bought it in a sale last year, however, I will still not be asking for donations or anything, so don't worry, this does not effect the way this forum is run or used.
