Agreed. I reply to the occasional self-promotion comment, but usually only if they're nice and not begging. I also usually tend to create what ever I want, and when I comment, it's usually the more-appreciated ones. I say 'cool' or 'awesome' to people who just beg for comments, but even then I sometimes say 'nice colours' or whatever.

Doesn't bother me all too much anymore, though. I'm getting back to freedom creations, and I'm currently waiting for someone to make a freedom hack for me Razz

Those comments, when they're on good or very good creations, then I can live with it. But when it's on crappier stuff, you can totally see they're doing that to get comments back and that's what annoys me.

When I Really comment (cuz sometimes I just give my first impression), I usually give my first impression, then what I like and sometimes what I'd change, if it were me. (Ofc sometimes just to be wanabee lame I comment silly stuff on Vektrix )

I don't comment on less than average creations, because I have nothing to say about them. I don't like being means so I wouldn't leave a comment like "meh its pretty s**t", but I don't like lying either. If its a creature with no colour, bad body structure and random details, what kind of comment could you leave without lying or sounding like an a**hole?

I have pretty much stopped commenting, but I have a new plan that I will swing into action in the next week, so my commenting will resume I hope.

I have become more hardline about certain aspects of the community - especially those that insist on posting about stealing creations. These threads annoy me the most now. I think the community is less obsessed by the mass uprating/dowrating now since those that are most effected have learnt to ignore it better.

I am fortunate that I have not been attacked by either (as far as I know). And yes, I consider mass uprating an attack as much as mass downrating is..

EuroSpore is the best Spore Forum Ive ever been on. The Sporum is ... a place for hopeless discussions and trolls.

Ive been almost constantly downrated for moths now, looks like someone just wont let go. Anyway, Ill be away for the whole summer, so very little spore time.
