I do not dispute you there Thomas, I just think you can abolish the monarchy too. I just know it ain't gonna happen.

They would do better to get people employed rather than all the cuts. All the cuts makes more people unemployed, putting a bigger burden on the system. And catching benefit cheats costs too, though probably not as much as what they costs us probably.

Anyway, this is off-topic for this thread, this about avoiding/watching the Royal Wedding.

No, Shadow, I knew it was off-topic, I was just replying to Thomas.

It went off-topic because I said there is nowhere I could complain to about the event costing the tax payer. Though there probably is, but no-one who has any say in the matter will take notice.

I admit the hysteria the media is whipping up about it is extremely annoying, even for me. Can't look at a newspage without seeing 'The Fairytale Wedding...' or some other pointless article.

Makes me care about it even less. Razz

I don´t wish them any harm, only too much advertisement often turns out to be repulsive. Another reason why I´m not following it. There are many other things I´d rather be doing.

The thing about the guest list is that not only did Kate organize the wedding herself, she also invited people from her old neighborhood such as the butcher and the postman. Also, the invited have to come by themselves unless their partner has been invited as well.
