Re: What did you buy?
@Didzo. Exactly why I don't understand the point in buying the very expensive watches. But I suppose that goes for alot of very expensive versions of things. Really the only point in buying them is to show others you can afford buying something that expensive.

A blender. Nothing better to cool you down on 30+ C* days than a fruit smoothie

It really depends on the person. Some people who like watches pay attention to things like how they feel, how they are balanced, the differences in detail, design, and precision both inside and out and are willing to spend extra money on a watch with an in-house movement over a watch that looks almost identical that uses a mass-produced movement. Only a very small number of people would be able to tell the difference just by looking at the watch. Those are the enthusiasts. That being said, it's generally pretty easy to tell the difference between a $100, $1000, and a $10000 watch even if they all have the same basic style.
Then there are people who buy a watch with gold and diamonds or go and get a Rolex because everyone knows what a Rolex is and that it's expensive.
Also, a smoothie would be delicious right about now.

Re: What did you buy?
Thats true. I can't say too much about the quality of a watch, not being much of an enthusiast myself. Too a degree I don't look at the design or detail, not in any real depth anyway. Mostly just functionality and comfort. In terms of design and detail "oooh shiny" pretty much summarizes my standards for a watch.

Ice cube tray. Been very hot recently, and considering its not even summer here yet, definitely going to need some ice cold beverages.

Thanks, really excited
Thanks for all your help with the spec, too, it's turned out so much better than it was before just be reprioritising parts and finding better deals in terms of bang for buck

A 500ml can of energy drink. I only drank a quarter of it. The only reason I bought it was because its size intrigued me.

Wish I was classy enough to wear a waist coat. Or anything corduroy for that matter.
I think the classiest piece of clothing I have is a pair of striped dress pants, that I haven't worn since my year 12 formal.
