They did say on DarkSpore trailer that it was a new type of action rpg, or something scratch

Not really how though.

But Rage did have some awesome graphics. I believe many won't be able to run the game though.
That's Blizzard's trick with World of warcraft. They make the graphics accessible for mostly everyone so more people can play it.

Ark- Hehehe, that thing is creepy awesome. But anyway, I've not seen anything else. Chances are, there's hours of more content we haven't seen.

Andy- Fair do's, really. As I said, I've never seen or played the other games to have anything to compare the new ones by, but I understand why people aren't so fond of the new ones.

There's a big difference between releasing a game on PC or console. Most modern-day action games are best played on a console because they come with the prerequisite of high-end graphics. If you release the same game on the PC/Mac, you will face the challenge of downsizing the graphic demands of the many configurations since most PC/Mac players don't have high-end graphic computers.

RAGE and many graphically demanding games were the reason Microsoft developed the XBox in order to allow anyone to enjoy the same graphics without having to shell out a high-end PC every time they buy the next hit game.

You're right, Andeavor, but I just don't feel confortable at all playing a first person shooter with a console.

I've done it and I got a few games for my ps2 which are fps, but it's just not that good for me without a mouse.

When it's a third person view game, then it's totally fine by me.

Well, if it means anything, they said how the quality should be the same through out xbox, PS3 and PC. They proved it at another expo.

@Ark: A first person shooter should be played with the Wii - point and shoot. Wink

I agree that the mouse helps a lot when moving around. I do like how the mouse is used in many first and third person games but I want the full (graphic) experience and all the computers I've owned were never equipped to do so.

@Loki: This is nearly impossible unless they count in a few minor differences. Both consoles and the PC in general have different hardware and thus cannot deliver the same quality.

I've been following news about this game for a while not, and I must say, it looks amazing. Kinda looks like Borderlands but, better. In my opinion. Can't wait for it to be released next year.

Looks like it's gonna be very graphics heavy, though. But my guess is, the graphics may be a little downscaled on consoles. Kinda like what they're doing with Crysis 2.
