I've just got home from the cinema. Went to watch The Tourist.

Was a funny, cool film. It was better than I thought it to be, for I really had some doubts about Johnny Depp + Angelina Jolie.
But to my surprise, turned out to be a decent movie. I was glad with it.

I saw The King's Speech today, a film about the rocky friendship between King George VI and his speech therapist Lionel Logue. What a brilliant film with an excellent cast.

Just saw the Green Hornet. Much longer than expected. The 3D made me slowly get a headache.

Note to self: Bring Advil to next movie.

I just watched District 9 again. It's been awhile since I watched it. I love that movie. It makes me a bit angry, though.

It moves a bit slow but in the end I love it when karma bites back. Wink

Finally watched district 9. Good movie and an interesting idea having the alien the captives to humans rather than the other way around.

I just skipped through what some might call a movie if high school students are given a camera, and I might not be too far from the truth. Some of the scripted stuff on YouTube has more depth than that... thing. The acting was atrocious, the writing was flat out bad and cinematographically... I'm not even going there.

I've got some experience with film-makers, and I don't know whether it's artistic blindness or mental incapacity but just pointing a camera at a bunch of [moderately] good-looking people repeating lines you can read on beer coasters does not make one a proper director.

And get rid of digital cameras... please, or just make them insanely expensive.

i just watch a few dc animations, best imo was batman: under the red hood

and district 9 is one of the most decent hollywood scifis made in recent years. it was actually had a plot :)and good effects. an increasing rare thing

First time I watched Solaris I should have been about 14 years old or so. The movie seemed so, so, so boring and pointless to me. It really wasn't what I hoped it would be.

It's currently on television now and I'm actually enjoying it. Never thought I would.

You forget, time runs differently in Narnia and they had plenty of time for practice upon arrival and by the end of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Pevensies were all grown up while staying and ruling over Narnia, but once they rediscovered and walked through the portal back to the real world the went back to their original age retaining all the memories and experience gained in Narnia, hence they could go right back into fighting in Prince Caspian.

Unfortunately it's not in the Spirit of the TV series, it's rather silly yes.

Agreed and actually the entire show went south after the movie. But its still watchable. Forgot to download it though.
