You just set online mode to off. You and others can join because of the hamachi. So it works for everyone.

Ah, cool. I'll do that now.

Also, once I do so I'll need some help because when I imported my single player map over to multi, I lost the spawn spot outside my fort, so now I need to find it again Laughing

EDIT: Does it work now?

EDIT: Has anyone else tried putting OGG songs into their music folder for Minecraft?

May I suggest we make a thread with all servers that are made (by us) so far? Which instructions of how to join of course. Right now I have no idea how many servers you guys made. I already joined the server of Becca and Mysteryem, but I haven't seen those online lately.

Well, Ive been playing the classic version of minecraft of late, just when I have a min or two... Have to be honest I didnt really get the point and what all the fuss was about.

Then Damnagoras mentioned the bought one was so much better so I hopped onto youtube and checked out some videos. I really admire the simplicity of the full version and how interesting the mechanics are, when I have monies I am going to buy it me thinks.

I just wondered if any of you minecrafters could tell me abit more about it, like what sort of gameplay styles there are and if there is more to it than just building stuff in order to survive? (Even if thats it, im not complaining, just need to know MOAR!)

Well, there are two main gameplay modes which you can opt for. Creative or Survival. In Survival the point is to survive (derp), so there are enemy creatures which come out at night (called mobs) which try to kill you. You have to prepare to defend yourself via building a home/fort and the correct equipment needed to defend yourself and exist Razz

Creative however is a more relaxed gameplay stance, where you can simply create whatever you wish without the fuss of mobs.

Or you can do both Creative and Survival Razz

Bear in mind these aren't set modes, they're just what the majority of MC'ers choose to do when playing MC. You can simply wander around without building anything, there aren't any set "tasks" as such.

Sounds pretty cool. So its an advanced sandbox type game really? I like the idea behind it alot. Nice relaxed game, I imagine its good fun to play with friends.

I was watching some videos with some of the monsters, creepers, lol. The animals look interesting, although I will feel bad butchering them!

It's a funny, creative, little addictive game, Red. Smile

One of the things I like about it is that updates keep coming from time to time.

You can build/create pretty much anything you want, although it'll take time and patience. You can also fight monsters, look for treasures, fish, cook, farm, etc. ^^

Maybe you'll appreciate this thread, where other EuroSporeons have shared their Minecraft works. Smile
