Still hard, but I managed to pass that course. Very Happy

I did well on the assignment which was 20% and I hoping I get good marks for my practical book. If I do do well with my prac book I'll aready have 40ish% going into the exam. Then as long as I do half way decent (atleast about 40% in the exam), I'll hopefully pass without to much of a problem.

Andeavor wrote:Remi + biochemistry = zombie apocalypse? Shocked

We never ever had multiple choice tests in school. You either knew it or you wrote a fairy tale.

Well I have been working on a zombie formula, which is showing promise Razz

yeah, this biochemistry course has only been running a few years and originally had short and long answer questions as well, but luckily the unit co-ordinator is too lazy to read long answers, so he always makes multiple choice exams now.

I feel part of the reason the have made many of the exams multiple choice now a days, is due to the high fail rate of some subjects. Anatomy of the Thorax (which is what I'm doing) has a supposed fail rate of over 50%, so they have caved and made the exam completely multiple choice.

Anatomy I am not in the least bit stressed about. Even if they had long answers in it, I wouldn't be stressing. I love anatomy, so I know more about it then any other of my subjects.

I also have a multiple choice exam for Bugs and Drugs which is a ridiculously easy subjects, so I'm not stressed about that either.

The only exam I have thats not multiple choice is my psychology exam, but its only one long answer question and I'm pretty confident in what I know about it, so not too much of a worry.

Random sidenote. I left my dinner plate on the desk and just noticed my cat polished it off... Good kitty.

As the semester is closing to an end, so is the flash movie I've been working on in the Digital Art class I've been taking this year. When it's all finished, I'll upload it to youtube and let you guys watch if you like Smile
I've been having very fun making it, so I'm likely going to buy flash at some point, so that I can make more videos and animations as a hobby. Possibly using my own music when I feel ready for that. It really isn't cheap to buy, but I believe there's a student version that only cost 1/4 of the regular price. Are there any differences between the versions though?

And it's wonderful weather over here. Warm and sunny! Very Happy Time to wear shorts!

Nice Damna, I'd like to see your flash movie. While I have absolutely no knowledge of the program you are talking about, I'd assume if the student version is half the price that a lot of more advanced features would be missing.

No, it seems that Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 Student and Teacher Edition only has a different license agreement than the regular version - you are only allowed to use it in educational purposes. Which I assume pretty much only means you're not allowed to make money from it. All features are the same. That's what I guessed, since our teacher in that same class mentioned, while we were using 3DS Max, that we were using the educational version, which only differed in the profit yada yada. But I don't expect to be able to create anything good enough to make money from in a while, if ever, so that's not a problem.

ah I see. Well if thats the only difference then I guess the cheaper version would better. Unusual though that that's the only difference between them and yet the other version is far more expensive. Even if you can make money with the professional version, I'd expect something more for my money. Confuzzling I say.

Made a Minecraft server for me and some friends at school. But now I have to figure out how to mod it/get good plugins and see if anyone can even connect.

EDIT:Got the server up and running, port forwarding is the biggest pain in my rear that I cared to do. Not because it in itself was that difficult, but that I kept forwarding the wrong IP *facepalm*

Whatever, got it running, I'm happy.

Urgh. I hate tail gaters.

Driving home from uni today, a guy in a van, sped up and came within about a foot of the back of my car, as I was going bout 80 km. He was trying to force me to go faster by moving closer, but I never give in to tail gaters.

But this was a particularly aggressive tail gater. He started flashing his high beams.

To get the message through to the numb skull I slowed down to about 60 km, at which point he finally backed off and waited for the road to become two laned, then promptly sped at probably 100 km + past me.

I really really hope that guy gets pulled over at some point.

Hooray! My summer holiday started today! Ten weeks away from school, this is so sweet. Too bad I don't have much of a summer-ish feeling right now - it's been raining all day. And my class thought it would be a fun idea to have a barbecue this evening. Although it's not really raining at the moment, it's still cloudy, grey wet and unpleasant, though not cold. I'm considering whether I want to go or not, I'd rather do it on a nice day.

A barbecue can be really fun when it's mild and rainy. I would go and enjoy myself (but I can't because they invited you).

My day has gone by rather quietly and uneventfully. I'm pondering what to make for dinner, but my options are limited. I think there's some ground beef in the freezer...

Oh, yes. It's even worse when you're already driving above the speed limit and they're still glued to your rear. It's quite annoying.

Still, if you break and they crash into you, it's their fault.

I frequently get tail gaters when there's construction work on the autobahn, which is... a lot. When the fast lane or the emergency lane are closed the traffic is automatically to be slowed down with shifted traffic according to the law. Unfortunately, many drivers here think they are Schumacher and race through there like their house is on fire.
