The Sun will come out...

The curse of the blah winter seems to be over. It was sunny at a refreshing 18º Celsius and today it will be sunny again, this time at 19º Celsius. It's amazing how a mild, sunny morning can make one want to get up and start the day.

On another note, I heard that this upcoming summer will be the hottest since... before my time. I'd rather be stuck in a heat wave and take naps in a full bathtub than having to put on seven layers of clothing just to get the mail.

Bring it on.

yay for summer! I love summer and everything that goes with it. Although having to peel back all the layers and STILL being roasted somtimes annoys me.

I walked out the house this morning with a coat, thinking it will be cold. By the time I was in town, I was too hot and had to carry it with me all day. It was only 14 degrees celcius as well.

I can't wait for summer!

Gah, only good thing about Summer is that the Sun stays out for more of the day, which means I can go out later without worry. And swimming. Can't ever refuse to go swimming ^^

uh, wasps. They are evil. The amount of times I have been stung. I wouldn't mind, but I never freak out or anything when they are near, or kill them, but still they sting me...

Hornets are worse. I remember in germany, there was this HUGE hornet in our living room. I ran.

Yarr. Bees, wasps, hornets, scared of all of them.

Mainly because I've never been stung, so I don't know what it feels like, and if I'm allergic :c

i hate wasps.... there was a huge colony near my window, last year. one day i open my door and...WTF there were MANY of them in my room! we took 4 hours to get them out of the room Shocked

that could have been fatal.

My dad had bees in his chimnley. Unfortunatly for him bees are protected in england, so he couldnt 'remove' them without a beekeeper doing it.

Unfortuantly again, there was no bee keeper willing to come out and do it. So he just smoked them out in the end.

But 4 hours trying to dodge and catch wasps... Wow. Rather you than me Wink

It takes three weeks for the sun to come out here. Living in the artic circle messes up the time, your sleep, and even more importantly, your personality. Sooner or later you'll get too depressed up here due to lack of sunlight.
