I've thought about it before. Pretty clueless on how it all works though Razz

The reason I've been tempted in the past is that alot of emulated games from other countries are available, which is a nice way to try things out before importing, or just being able to play if you can't import.

I never have though, not really sure why.

I'm still sad that the commodore 64 emulator for the gba was never completed. Then I could have emulated an emulator. Smile

I prefer VBA for actually playing games, and BoycottAdvance for listening to music, since you can minimize the program and it continues playing, VBA pauses.

I have about as much knowledge on emulators as I do quantum physics Razz I know what they do, but I've never looked into them as I don't think I'd have a need for one.

The closest thing I've ever had to an emulator was a box thing I could put on the bottom of my old gamecube that would let me play Gameboy games on the tv. I miss it Sad Though thats not really the same thing.

I use DeSmuME 0.9.7 to play me some POKEMANZ!

It's hard to set up, but really easy to use. Extra fun, too Very Happy

Emulators are a great way to play old games and if you don't have the console.
But I never used an emulator before, because they are illegal! Razz

I finally figured out how emulators work.

I use a Gameboy Advanced emulator to play pokemon (really what other games are there on gameboy?)

I've also got a SNES emulator to play Donkey Kong and a few other old games.

I've tried a gamecube emulator and while I didn't have any issue getting it up and running, games tend to run choppy and have fairly poor frame rate. My gaming pc is pretty powerful, so I'm guessing it's just an issue with the emulator. Still playing Super Smash Bros melee on it is a ton of fun.
