Can't decide between a tropical island and a yacht?

How about both?!

This view shows the guest cabanas nestled around the pool and highlights the two deck owners' suites carved out of the front of the volcano and looking out across the bow. The interior features an owners suite located inside the volcano and spread over two decks. The living room balcony affords views out over the front of the yacht from behind the waterfall. Located behind the bedroom is the owners private spa.

Rich people get all the fun, don't they? However, if I had too much money, I'd rather go with this:

Damn, those two looks great. Very, very cool.

However, it's hard for me to take them for real with the amount of poverty and hunger around the world. They may look spectacular but I can't stop thinking that the huge sum of money that went into those could have been better spent.

Can't imagine what would happen in rough waters.

Makes me hate being middle-class even more.

I can't even imagine how much those things would cost. As for the second one why does it have roads? I think I can see little cars on it as well. Sure the ship is big, but I don't think its big enough that you'd need a car to get round it.

But I honestly wouldn't really want yacht like those. For me there is a point where things can be just so luxurious they become boring. If you owned one of those yachts, what would you do with it. Sit on it and say "yeah.... I own something of equal value to a small country". And sure you can throw the occasional party on it, but that doesn't seem like an investment that would pay off really.

There is just a bit to much boat for one person is basically what I mean.

@Marky, thats a pretty slick yacht there. Looking at the second picture, all I can think of is "Man I hope he remembered to put on the hand brake"

I always say, if I had too much money, I'd buy an old train and restore it or build one from scratch and turn it into a steampunk train with retractable everything.

I'd use it to travel from city to city and when I didn't have to use it I'd rent it out to someone else.

This gives me a great idea for a thread
