I have just increased my GB by 500GB, it is an external drive, so effets all my computers.
I am trying to have it recognised over my network, but it is having none of it....

I have a 320 gb external harddrive which I have never used........ I bought it for my old computer, but that one sort of crapped out so I bought a new one with one Tb so I have no real use for it...... what a waste of a hundred and something dollars

I'm using it for backups and documents at the moment. You should do the same Rem, backup your important stuff to the external drive.

Macs are so overpriced. I found a dell with the same stats as a mac, only it was about $300 less
