Why does no one used the chatbox?

On the ECF (one of my favourite haunts, even now), the chatbox is thriving, even with such a small community compared to ours. What is different about the EuroSpore chatbox that makes it so deserted?

Eurospore's been round for quite some time, for reasons unknown the chatbox has been used on the rare occasion recently, however not that long ago you could guarantee that someone would be on there almost 24 hours a day and there'd always been some crazy chat going on. I think maybe it's because most of the people who liked to use the chatbox do no frequent the forum as often as they used to?

Funny how we tried that before, and we disliked it.

Now I think we need it more than ever.

I would agree with what Ben said. Alot of our more talkative members have gone MIA. I used to be on the chat all the time, but with me getting back into uni and most of my time being pre-occupied, I'm normally too tired to chat by the time I'm available on here. Though I'm going on a 3 month break in two weeks so that'll probably change.

I used to love going on chat as well, but as soon as I joined steam I couldn't go back to the slower ES chat. That and there weren't too many people on when I was around anyway.
