I received a replacement tablet which is so far proving very useful, among other things which are mostly animal-related.

The cake is a triumph.

As for me, I won't be hovering like I usually do, I shall be busy paying respects to my dear animal companion, cuddles, who died this day, eleven years ago.

In all honesty, after eleven years of not celebrating my birthday because of my loss, I believe the time has come to let cuddles go, and rest happily. Keeping an animal's spirit trapped because of one's feelings turns from compassion to selfishness, after a while.
