Everyone please pray for my sister, Kristin. She has torn an ACL ligament in her right knee and sprained an MCL ligament. She will need surgery and weeks of rehab. I would be very happy to see a lot of you pray for my sister. I'm sure she would aswell.

Ooh... nice (not). I have strained by Medial Collateral Ligaments playing football (Soccer) before, but it was only very minor, so only need two weeks of rest to heal. However, my Lateral Collateral Ligament could not keep up with my growth when I was 13-15 years old, as a result, I could not bend either knee without it being really painful.

She clearly has serious injuries if she needs surgery, so I wish her luck in her rehabilitation. How did she do it btw?

@Vek: She was playing baseball for her church. She was running to 1st base. She stepped on the base wrong and when the baseman tagged her she twisted her leg wrong and tore some ligaments

ouch.. I've learnt from doing anatomy that tearing lagaments is just about the most painful injury you can get. I hope everything goes well for your sister in surgery

Ouch! Okay Blaze she'll be in my thoughts. I will also pray for her to heal, or at least minimize the effect of the rehab (in a good way) Smile Hope she get's better!

Don't worry she will be as good as new once she heals, tell her to stay strong and to never give up no matter how hard it is. support her the best you can and give her my luck.

I tore the ones in my left knee once. That was really not fun.. But like all things, it healed. I think the same will happen to your sister.

I can only hope she isn't in too much pain right now!

I cannot pray, for I am Athiest, but I dearly hope she is okay, and wish her luck. It sounds nasty :/

I've snapped something below both my kneecaps, it's known as Osgoodshlatas disease or something, but it's damn painful.

Doesn't sound as painful as what your sister has, I hope she's okay :/

So sorry to hear this has happened... I really do wish not just your sister, but all of you the best of hope. That your sister recovers well from her injuries, and that none of you shall be scarred or too hurt by this very unfortunate event. Take care, all of you..

Negative: That would have hurt a LOT OUCH....

Positive: A genuine sports injury, meaning she can claim to have the same injury/operation as famous sports people.

Coclusion: Hope her recovery is as quick as possible and that she regains full confidence in the functionality of her knee.

I also do not pray, being atheist, but I do wish her luck in a speedy recovery.

Well, hurting ligaments is not always extremely painful. I tore some ligaments near my clavicle (collar bone) when I dislocated it. It's really not so bad, it just sticks out a little.

I hope your sis feels better, Blaze.
