An awkward pause cannot be manufactured, but at least now I understand. I have only ever seen some of his interviews on YouTube when I've been looking for interviews of certain people.

Of course it can't be manufactured, but it's a unique comedic effect to end interviews and you can tell who's natural at it. Lisa Kudrov in the beginning showed an excellent example and so did Simon Helberg halfway through.
