Lately the Moderation Team has had to deal with an unusual number of problems. In the last 2 weeks, people have been argueing, spamming in the Chat Session, insulting each other, and some people have wanted to quit the Eurospore.

Now, we would all like to remind you that the Eurospore Forum is made so we can have a nice community to run to when we need it. We do not accept users giving each other a rough time.

While most of you are in good standing, we regret to say that some of you [who we will NOT name] are being watched, and are on your final chances. We've had to ban a couple people from chat session, while technically, a few of you deserve to be banned from the forum itself. Please, do not force us to take those actions.

I'd like to remind some of you of the rules which have been broken the most times;
>> Spamming within the forums (this includes the Chat Session!)
>> Harrasment, personal attacks, insulting or teasing (please think of how the person will react, and if it's a good idea)
>> Off-topic discussion, single-worded posts (please post with MEANING, not "ok", "lol", "I agree" etc. Posts shall be deleted, and post counts decreased if that's what you're aiming to achieve)
>> Swearing or vulgar language
>> Insulting or harrasing the Moderation Team (we are here to make this place better for you. Be a bit thankful for our work)


We are starting to think people are acting out because the admins have been innactive, or our leader Vektrix isn't around as often. Well, we've decided to take over now while Vektrix is away, and so are fully enforcing the rules and shall be punishing where neccessary. Please keep in mind, this forum is meant to be friendly, we do not want to need to ban any of you.

Please do not use this thread to vent off your anger or make any excuses, for we are not pointing out any names. We simply want you all to be aware of what you're doing, think twice before you act, and as a whole, enjoy your time here.

We = The Moderation Team

At one point or another, me, Vektrix and Arkanay have all agreed upon this.

Good idea enforcing the rules, people might actually learn to listen (or not D:)

If i cause one more trouble, i will leave EuroSpore, all this stuff relolved around me. So i might have to leave, i want to leave EuroSpore peaceful not growing hostile

It is NOT all revolved around you. Yes, you might have caused a few problems, but not all of it.

Just follow the rules, and things should continue smoothly

This actually goes for everyone. Just try to spend some good time. Make it a pleasent experience, not only for you, but also for others. Avoid feeding pointless dramas and such.
And if you need anything, just PM a mod or an admin.

I might have caused some of the problems because I'm known for arguing and always wanting to get the last word in

Ive been gone for some weeks, and the peaceful friendly forum i know suddenly have to remind everyone to calm down and respect each other.. whoa! what happened here?

And Rebecca ore SuperLoki.. I heard you got permabanned. That's it, my motivation is 0 right now to play Spore and share creations..

So, to get this straight...

Sporum has died. Hmm... is anybody starting to see a link here...?

All my speculation aside, I think people should think about what they're doing before they do it. How would it make you feel if someone said that same nasty thing to you? And if it's posts you're after; why? Really, why? What's the point? I mean, if you were to actually succeed in your goal to becoming the highest rank in EuroSpore, what would that have to show? I think it would show specifically how you got there: by turning this forum into a graveyard. Is that really how you want to become a Knight (or whatever that highest rank is)? Is it really now?
If it is... well, I have nothing left to say to you. If it isn't, you might just want to reconsider your ways.

And don't take any of this personal, Hawk, or anyone else; nobody's accusing anybody in person, and nobody ever named one specific name at one time. These messages are sent to all of you people, not to one of you, and, even though the consequences seem harsh, they have had to be executed due to the collective harm you've done, not the harm one single person has done. And (hopefully) there was no actual harm done, so don't feel bad for yourself or others, but think for yourself and others; for a better forum for yourself and others.

With one exception, they all leave soon after that.

And as far as eurospore is concerned, I think this is a very behaved place

I feel partially to blame for this, with not being around. However, three variables have changed for me. The World Cup (which ends on Sunday, so that will no longer be a variable), my social life has increased a lot and voluntary work. I have also had motivational issues and haven't loaded up Spore for two months now.

I think I shall be back to full steam soon.

As for flaming, trolling and spamming, just don't do it and the problem is solved. I did not set up EuroSpore expecting none of this, but equally, I did not set it up so that I could spens all my available spare time keeping you guys in order.

Just think before you post, and imagine how that post can be interpreted by anyone. Equally, it is a two way street, communication, those reading posts should not automatically assume the worst possible meaning. I personally, do not post if I have nothing to add, or am offended by something, unless there is an issue with breaking rules.
