Thanks, I'm pretty sure you'd do a better job than I ever did. I remember the one I used to wish you a happy birthday.... Eugh, that thing animated horribly!
Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
@Loki: Can you try see if you can make a youtube video of the fish swim animation trick as in like how to do it? If you don't know then its fine. I'm trying to think up a good sand walker creature for ya. ^^

Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
I've been thinking of doing the tutorial for a while now.. I might do it. There's actually 2 versions.
Also, video of the current species. I decided to make things look a bit more.. professional? Just to play around with people May still be processing...

Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
Ever since I downloaded the Assym Patch, I noticed that I couldn't do the invisibility glitch anymore... I might not be able to make a creature for this.
Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
You can get some good animations by place stuff carefully on the creature.
I endlessly test every creature for animation, and if you check my sea creatures, a lot of them animate quite smoothly. I achieve this by placing stuff below the body, most of it is visible actually. The problem is, they will always appear to be swimming near the bottom of the ocean.
I keep saying this, but I wanna update my extincts (which includes my sea creatures) so they look better and animate better.

To continue a tad, my plesiousaurs, moasaurs, tylosaurs, pliosaurs and even fish have their flippers angled downwards so that they are lower than the lowest point on their body
Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
Interesting vek, i will take apart one of your creatures and analyse it.
Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
Okay everyone. I'm finished making the *surprise* creation for Loki's project. It took me ages and I'm happy with the results. ^^ *Unveils the curtians*

....Do you want a crab I've been working on for an abandoned Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy adventure?
It's surprisingly well made, for my standards.

Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
loki, i have made one with realistic movement for you. But the invisi limb shows in the PNG, how do i make sure it isn't showing?
EDITED i mastered it^^ here it is loki, it animates like a fish and should be usable to you.

Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
Ok dokie, I'm gonna start testing now (managed to finish two videos)
Shadow, if you want I can fix that for you. With all of your permission, I may make some modifications to the creatures (with credit, of course!) which also means I can try to fix animation, glitches, and any expansion-pack related troubles
Gonna test these now, as I have the PNGs:
I'm also gonna take up your offer Saki and have a lookie at your sea creatures and buildings I may start the environment now.
EDIT: Sorry Lum! I forgot to add, I'd love to use that creature if you'll let me, please?

Re: Aquatic Stage Project - Testing
Thank you all for helping me!
Kevin- I know, that's what I'll be doing once I'm finished with these, thanks
Now, Shardna and Shadow. You've both made fantastic creatures, but you both also used some C&C, and the animation with the parts clipped a couple of times Don't worry, though. I've made some modifications (more with Shadow's) to suit the adventure. But I just want to check with you two first, since they are your creations
EDIT: Oh woops, I didn't realize I made Shadow's one so pink. I'll fix that.
