I just need to vent a little because the scanner isn't co-operating as it should. They can build a tiny device that shows you the world at the push of a button but they can't make an intelligent scanner that actually recognizes what you're trying to scan.

Anyway, I'm currently in the process of scanning all my photographs but I'm having nothing but issues with it... *shakes fist violently*

Humor me and tell me what your stance with technology is.

I get really frustrated at technology sometimes, especially if it doesn't work. Technology shouldn't have a reason not to work, meaning that the designer has failed, in my view...

And I hate when the wireless internet drops out. For no apparent reason.

But still, THE most frustrating thing is when a program doesn't respond. I hate it. Then you click the x to get rid of the bloody thing, and it says "This program isn't responding. Would you like to end it now?"

You don't want to know how it is when your WIRED internet drops out at least 10 times a week. Mine is supposed to be as fast as a more famous company's internet and cheape but dear lord I can't stay on a gmod server for more than an hour without it dropping.

@Zel, well your forgetting the main principal of technology, the more complex, the more likely to break. For instance, old mobile phone, you know those old brick like one. I could probably drop one from a two storey building and it would still work, but on the other hand my new phone. I pretty sure If it dropped off my desk it would be permanently stuffed. Theres always errors in techonlogy, its just that the less complicated it is the less amount of errors that can occur, its not neccesarily the makers fault, no matter how hard they could try, there will always be problems.

I'm talking about technical issues Rem, not structural.

And while that is true, technology is so advanced now that things should run smoothly.

(And if they can't, then tough, the consumer isn't happy with it.)

I am a true technophile, however, I am easily annoyed when something that has no reason not do what it is supposed do, thate can really _____ me off.

However, if mobiler phones had not been invented, I would have been very happy.

Mobile phones are everywhere!!! D: It's scary how many kids (LITTLE kids!)
have cell phones! Just yesterday I saw this little boy (maybe about 6 yrs old) riding his bike down the street texting on his phone. Completely unaware of what was going on around him. (riding on the wrong side of the road, not watching where he was going!) I had to swerve to avoid hitting him on my bike. He didn't even look up. No

I didn't have a mobile phone until I was 15. It was a bulky Nokia and was made for calls only.

I actually remember having to go and find a phone booth and making sure I had enough change to call my mom to let her know where I was. Kids these days are quite spoilt with technology and often they don't even appreciate what they have, then treat their phones or handheld devices with little respect and have the gaul to complain about them not have enough features.

Too true Andy. I've seen kids using their phones as ping-pong balls. Spoiled indeed. I'm 16 and have yet to have a cell phone. Not that I really need one, but it's funny to see the shock on kids faces when they ask for my number and I tell them I don't have a phone. Razz

I got a phone for year 7. I barely used it, only for calls...
