Movie Discussion - What movies did you just see?

Good thing I never liked them in the first place.

I am going to see Paul Monday. I hope it's good.

I haven't seen that film either. My brother and my sister both went to see it and they thought it was okay.

Saw A Time to Kill earlier today. It is a very good movie and extremelly relevant to my degree.
I'm doing a project based on it for one of my courses.

I saw Mars Needs Moms. It was quite a fun adventure and I recommend it to everyone but it's not like it's so good I have to watch it again and again.

Saw Battle:LA a couple of days ago, not bad, but too cliche for me to want to see it over and over.

Saw Apollo 18´s trailer. Looks like Rec in space to me.

Might be good, though.

One of the producers said the film wasn't fiction, they found the footage... it's the Blair Witch Project in Space.

Just got back home from seeing Battle LA...

It's a guy movie, that's all I can really say. WAY to many explosions, if I say so myself.

And guys walking away from them without looking? Cause that'd be neat

Battle for Los Angeles looked a lot like Clovefield in the trailers I've seen. They normally use tons of action sequences and explosions to cover up for a bad storyline.



Was walking around the big mall here and we saw that they were showing "I am number 4", I had heard about it, but didn't have the faintest clue as to what it was about, nor did anyone else who had mentioned it to me.

So we decided to see it......... eh........ Its not a terrible movie, but its nothing worth mentioning. The storyline is extremely formulaic and been done 1000 times before and there were not surprises at all in the movie, also certain parts were incredibly cheesy. Pretty typical sci-fi movie. But as far as typical sci-fi movies go, it was alright.

I recently saw Rango.

It's a pretty decent movie... but I wouldn't say it's anything fantastic.

Then again, I was too busy half of the movie being annoyed at how awkward the main character's neck is.

I went ans saw Paul last night, i recommend it to anyone as it is very funny and has a good storyline. Pegg and Frost are awesome as usual in this Sci-Fi comedy.

Battle LA was one of the best I have seen in a long while. That is all. It makes up for the terrible movies I have seen the last 3 years.

Hopefully it's not another movie in which America saves the day :/

I´m still waiting for the movie where the terrorists are American and Russians save the day.

When they make movies where the bad guys are American, usually, the main character, the hero, is also American.

In Hollywood, the hero is always American, even if his entire family are Scottish Vikings, just so the average [male] American viewer can identify with the character.

Truth be told, even if you threw a good storyline at the average American, all they're concerned about is whether they can shag one of the main characters.

And that sir is why it's good to be an american actor.

Why not just make a American European hybrid actor and we will all be happy.

Just finished watching Stealth. It was the second time I saw it, for I had seen it years ago in the cinema.

It's a cool movie, although a bit corny/tacky through that feel that was discussed a couple of posts above.

I like the way it was filmed during the action scenes in the air.
