Holy moly, Vek, what a treat! I have no blimmin' clue what he's talking about but now I know someone whose tweet has been featured in the media.

It's the 2nd of December and I was having lunch today on the balcony, in the sun.

Had to leave the window open since I'm still feeling hot...

It's obviously because Switzerland is at a high altitude, and thus closer to the sun.

Weather is extremely temperamental here right now. Within the space of 5 minutes, it went from sunny and warm to storming, extremely heavy rain and hail. And then within another 5 minutes went back to sunny and warm. Happened so quickly, there was absolutely no mention that there was going to be, or that there had been a storm in our area on the weather channel.

Also caught up with some friends I haven't seen since highschool. Was good to catch up, but they said exactly the same thing that almost every other person I know has told me in the last month "get a facebook already!"

Despite me not believing I'd use facebook very often, if not at all, I'm feeling more and more odd for not having one.

I can understand that feeling Remi, the only reason i got it in the end was to keep in touch with friends when at uni, and that's all i use it for still

Yesterday was ginger bread baking day. Some traditions never get old ^_^

Yesterday went to the australian institute of hearing to be part of a study on hearing. The guy running the study was probably the most awkward man I have ever met in my entire life. A nice guy but incredibly awkward.

Basically had to just sit in a sound proof room, with a buzzer in my hand. They played a bunch of different frequency sounds, first starting from in audible, working up to audible. All I had to do was hit and hold the button when I could hear first hear the sound and then the sound would begin to fade a way at which point I had to let go of the button when I couldn't hear the sound anymore.

After everything was done, I learned from the guy that apparently I have very good hearing in all regards, but particularly low frequency sounds. Apparently I can hear lower frequency sounds that most don't normally hear so well.

Not much use in being able to hear lower frequencies, but it was interesting.

I have finally procured my 1939-1945 Star medal.

I wish I could've kept it but my old cat might not approve...

Looks like a sweet little cat. Ewok would never let another cat (that she was bigger than) come into our yard. She's very particular about who she allows into her kingdom. She only just tolerates Butters.

And just when I was getting used to not studying, I'm going to have to pick it back up again. Got my graduate medicine exam (which I need in order to transfer to medicine) in late february next year, so I have to sacrific my holiday couch potato time and pick up my text books again.

I've started to casually play spore again every now and then during the last month or so. That is, I play the game and only create the things for my species. But I've sometimes thought about what it would be like to get back into creating again. I had a lot of fun creating, especially adventures. I miss it sometimes, even though I quit because I got a little tired of it.

Do you think there is any way I could get back into it? I want to find the fun again.

I've always found eucalyptus drops best to sooth a sore throat sj if they sell them there. Plus they are tasty.

Finally landed some proper work. Working for a catering crew. Going to be working new years eve and new years day. Would normally be a bit bummed about that, but consider how much they will be paying me per hour, I most certainly won't be complaining.

I just stepped on a scale and saw I'm 83 kilos! That's the heaviest I've been - ever. I used to struggle putting on weight and getting to 80 kilos a couple of years ago was strenuous enough, then loosing all of that weight subsequently didn't help my morale either.

I guess once you hit 30 your weight goes the other way, so you have to start keeping an eye on it. That means I have to start controlling what I eat and maybe start out a proper workout routine.
