I just came across this article about Judgment Day. According to the latest mathematical equations, Christ will return on the 21st of May and take all believers with him to heaven

What the heck? I mean come on, if the world ends on the 21st of way we would at least of seen some epic sign, like a supervolcano.

1. If there is a just God, then I believe the good life I have led so far will lead me into heaven (should it exist).
2. Numerology has been known to be packed with failures (the year 2000 for instance).
3. If such a thing will happen, we should be worrying about the Anti-Christ before we worry about Judgement Day - What harm could the Anti-Christ do?

The Rapture isn't a physical ending of the world, it's when all the believers are taken into Heaven to meet Christ and be judged.

Still, the bible talks about wars and disasters before the final day. Can't really call Libya a war, and compared to biblical disasters the Japanese earthquake was nothing

Yeah, the world is going a bit crazy atm, but I think its a sign of our times more than anything. You cant pin point an exact date for the world to end Laughing

I do think things are going to get worse though, with food and fuel prices. I dont quite think it means the coming of jesus or the apocolypse just yet though.

I believe the recent catastrophes and the uprising in the Middle East and northern Africa are only part of the ending of the old world as we know it. They're a catalyst that shake up the cultural traditions and bring the people of the world one step closer together.

People will suffer, either drowned by a tsunami or shot dead by the militia, but one thing is sure, the world is changing.

Well yeah, but it didn't say how bad the earthquakes would be. It just says they will be greater in number.

Personally, I don't know. I don't think anything will happen, but who knows.

As a Christian, these kinds of people just annoy me. They're the sort of people who give all the rest of us Christains a "crazy people" label".

If this guy actually knew his Bible, he'd also know that it is written that "No one will know the day" (of the end).

So, this guy is actually just crazy.

As an atheist, I agree. Religion is, at its core fundamentals, a good thing. But those individuals that make a thing out of it for attention ruin people's perception of it. However you interpret this so called 'prophecy' it really is just a guy trying to get attention/being a brick short.

We really don't know when doomsday will come but it's not happening this year that's for sure. Some people already assumed it would be 2012 but I don't believe that's going to happen either. I think this bloke went mental or something.

These very things have occurred for thousands of years. It may only seem like its ten times worse now, when in fact its always been like this.
