NEWS: 40 year old lies about kidnapping so mommy wouldn't be angry.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas — A woman has been accused of making up a story about being kidnapped and forced to drive to Louisiana.

League City police said Kimberly Walker, 41, told them that two men confronted her and her boyfriend in the parking lot of the Taco Bell on West Main Street near Hobbs Road about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police said Walker told them the men threatened her and her boyfriend with a gun and forced them to drive across the state line.

Walker said they drove back to League City after dropping their attackers off and reported the incident to police.

Investigators said Walker later confessed to making up the story because she was gambling in Louisiana and did not get home when she told her mom she would.

Walker has been charged with filing a false police report.

No one likes getting yelled at by their parents, but she's a 40 year old woman and she was so worried what her mother do/say when she got back because she was late home that she made up a story to the police?

Getting yelled at by mother for being late or possible charges for filing a false kidnapping report.. hmm, which is worse?
