Congrats on the giggi though, especially with the lack of mega pots. I was so so scared of it when I first went up against it. Its a fun fight but scary if you're not sure what to expect.

Ooh lol that sucks, that's happened to me a few times. Ironically, the same thing happens to me in online all the time with the Baggi weapons. I want to get a sleep bombing in, but the other players just keep smacking at it...

Yeah, there was a bit near the end where I had low health, and I knew it was either me or the nox, and then I see Cha Cha running up to it with no fear and whacks it on the face and kills it lol.

His tenacity is just amazing.

EDIT: I just watched the Jhen Mohran fight. That looks like so much fun. Very Happy

Uh, trying to get a sleep bomb off can be the worse thing somtimes. I tend to clear with everyone before we set off, but with some people, its impossible xD

Yeah, you have to love cha cha really. Its like a flea going after an elephant.

Tee hee, Jhen Morahn is great fun, but I have no idea how you are supposed to realise what to do without videos. Its tricky to begin with, especially as it relies so much on team work...

Way easier than I thought. Me and Cha-Cha blew him up like 4 times lol
I only had the need for a Mega Potion once, after his electric attack.

I guess it was unfair, as I did it with a lance, but yeah
plus SnS has a little disadvantage underwater, because of the short range, and Lagi is always swimming...
I could barely hit the stupid monster because he kept swimming to the other side of the area. Razz

Oh geez, I used the lance charge like 15 times on him. It's great because I could hit him all the way down his body, but it totally eats the sharpness.

The only thing I don't get in this game has to do with the hammer. How in the world can a hammer get dull? lol, it's a blunt instrument

Lol, I know! Maybe its somthing to do with how defined and chiseled it is as it smashes the poor moster round the moosh?

Although how on earth can you swim underwater with all that armour and how on earth can you wield weapons that are as big as yourself and all that other stuff that MH overlooks Razz

Yeah, I don't hit monsters that much with the charge, I just use it to move acoss large areas. Mega dash juice + Lance = Win. Although I hate it when someone uses it to run across an area and totally ploughs you down... just why!?

upswings are pretty much impossible

For some reason, I decided to go fight a Rathian in Moga Woods. Only about half way through the fight did I realize I did not bring bombs, traps, or dung bombs. So, apparently the Ian could smell my lack of Dung Bombs, and ate me like 3 times.
I am never going into Moga Woods unprepared again. Sad

Its fun going to moga with nothing, no armour or anything Very Happy

Helps you to learn the attacks with no risk. Although it is annoying when you go there to collect and all the rathian wants to do is stalk you.

How far are you with quests? Online and off? I haven't been on in ages... I probably should make some time to do so before Im so out of touch I derp all around the monster.

I'm on 5* quests in offline, and 2* in online.
I need to do the offline Powderstones quest, but I can never manage to get Felyne Lander.

Even with felyne lander, the jump can break them. My advice is to wear the Loc lac set and gem up the transporter if needed, to pro transporter.

Bring some mega dash juice and psycho serum. Pop them as you pick up the stone and that way you can dash all the way back and avoid any monsters that might be lurking.

If you still struggle, take armor skin too and add helm and vambraces of whatever highest defence you have.

Erm, off the top of my head sjhorm its well done steak and dash extract. You can buy a load of steak (well trade) online from that woman somtimes, which is easier than cook... cook.... You should have some dash extract by now too Smile

I was thinking about it earlier today when I did the bloodstones quest with some guys, and Nox attacked.
We were going to kill it, but someone delivered all the bloodstones early. :C

Today we fought a couple Great Baggis, a Gobul, and a Rathian. Now, one guy had a great sword, the other had a switch axe, and the other had a hammer. So you know what that meant. Poor lance using Sj was in the air the entire time. Sad

Hey, at what point can I get myself a fire lance? I want one. Very Happy
