I watched it all too. Even the hour where they talked rubbish after the service until the balcony appearence to pass the time.
Overral, it was pretty good. Not too formal and yet it didn't abandon the formality that makes it so elegant and grand.

Interesting...looks like you're enjoying it, Trick.
Maybe I should add a third ancient language to my repetoire to go nicely with Latin and Attic Greek. And I've always liked ancient Egypt. Hmm...

I missed most of it due to school, but I saw the bit with the ring.
I thought it was alright. I wish them well.

I decided to sleep instead of getting up at 5 a.m. to watch the wedding.
Tomorrow I will be awake for over 24 hours because I have to go to 'prom'. Woo. The best part will be the go-karts afterwards.

Sleeping through the wedding was easier done than said.

I swam at the beach once during a storm. Was actually rather fun. Especially since there was no one else was there as everyone else had the common sense not to be swimming at that time

Well tonight we were freezing our butts off here, so I decided to try lighting the fireplace. For some reason the log I was using was very very crackly and created a ton of sparks. It takes a while to get the fire going and the best way it to blow air through it. Unfortunately we don't have one of those things that blow air (can't remember the name) So I have to put my face near the fire and do it.
Well as I was blowing, the log began crackling more furiously, until eventually it made a very large spark and a small piece of red hot coal flew into my mouth. Luckily it was very very small, so the hotness dissipated quickly, but for a couple hours I had the worst taste of coal in my mouth :[

My cat is anxiously waiting for his breakfast but little does he know we're going to the vet in approximately half an hour. And here he is patiently purring away.

They be bellows Remi. Perhaps the log had a very low water content?
Oh, what is wrong with your cat? Or is it just a routine check-up, Andy?

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
I've been taking photos for all my school events lately, and processing thousands upon thousands of pictures for no cost gets quite bothersome. It's not that I care about the money all that much, it's that I bought my camera and lenses on my own, process photos and save them to my hard drive, using up my space (not a huge problem anymore with a 1TB drive, and 20 GB extra drives, but still annoying), and fixing any problems with photos, etc., with no compensation whatsoever. Not even credit as the artist. Normally, I wouldn't care, but for this to happen for months on end gets bothersome.
So, if you've even bothered to read this far, what do you guys feel would be an appropriate price to charge? Or do you feel that it should be done for free anyway?

At this point, I would charge. Have no idea what kind of figures, though. The fact they don't give you credit is appalling. If it were me, I would stop and screw them over. Not sure how ownership rights works in this case but, chances are, you didn't sign any type of agreement.

I would charge. That's really bad.
I'd say somewhere between 30 and 40 bucks per event.
Seems reasonable enough.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
I would do what you said, but seeing as I attend school there and have to deal with many of them on a daily basis, stopping and telling them to basically shove it would not be the best idea at the moment. And I have a book somewhere that explains that sort of [copyright] thing, I'll have to look it up again. No agreements were signed, correct. But I still have rights to all images. But yes, I am charging soon, I'm just having difficulty deciding how much. Thanks WP, as usual.
@sjh
Yeah, that sounds decent enough on both sides. I don't need to make a living off of it, but for all the work, some compensation is nice. Cheap enough for them to actually still want me to do it, but enough where I don't want to kill myself by the time it's all done.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
Any off-shoot forum based off here has at best always gotten vacuous and disgusting results. One notorious example is EuroSpore, where each single post has the stupidity and apathy in this entire Sporum put together. Anyway, I should keep on-topic.
This forum won't last more than a week before it is a dead haven in which the phrase "ghost town" will be an understatement to the amount of inactivity you will see. Single viewings will be luxuriously rare; let alone actual posts.
Please take my advice and cancel your plans, Jabba.
Thanks,
Tess000
