Woke up at 3 a.m this morning and didn't feel in the least bit tired, even though I went to sleep at 11 o'clock. And I still don't feel tired. Confusing me. I should feel exhausted right now.

I like sleepless nights. Noone is there to annoy you, and you can do whatever you want. Provided you have a good read/ TV/ Movie/ internet access/ music or can just go out and have a walk (I can't :<)

But yes, I'm also glad the conservatives finally have a majority and can actually do stuff.

Stupid rain. It is somehow making me feel down and then calm (which isn't a bad thing). Apperantly it's going to be like that for this month, next month and finally back to sunny on August. I'm glad I'll be going somewhere sunny for two whole weeks which isn't too far off from now.

There were a lot of memorable moments in this election.

Duceppe and Iggy are gone. Remember Stephane Dion? Of course not. Liberals have a long way to go. Not even a shadow of the Chretien and Martin days.

Voter turnout was 61%. That is still a poor turnout. Either Canadians are becoming more lazy or just too confused on who to vote for that they just don't bother. Doing history proud...

Conservatives ran mostly smear ads. Anyone who voted for the Cons based on these ads alone are sheep and are sending this country in the wrong direction, IMO.

But that's enough for me on this matter. We now have 4 years to see what happens now that a majority has been elected.

Well it appears I might now have an enemy.

Today we wanted to get our group Biochemistry assignment handed in, so we tried to organize a group meeting.

Only me, my friend and the two other reliable people showed up. Us four out of the eight in the group were the only ones who put in a real effort, so when we were writing our critiques of the other four, we were a little more harsh, however one in particular I gave zero marks to as he did nothing on the assignment, came to the meeting and hour late, did nothing in the meeting, left the meeting early and didn't show up to the second meeting.

So the four of us wrote our critiques, and printed them out, handed in the assignment and went back to the study room in case the others showed up so we could tel them to go give their critiques to the lecturer.

The guy who did nothing finally showed up an hour and a half late and we told him to go give his review to the lecturer, which he did.

The four of us who actually worked on the assignment did our critiques on Obaid's (one of the useful one's) laptop. Obaid decided to open mine out of interest to look at my critique of him, because I told him I gave him a good mark. Unfortunately the guy who did nothing came back at the same time, walked in and Before Obaid realized that he could see my review of the guy, he saw it and became furious.

He yelled at me "Hey! Why did you give me a (censored) mark?!??"

I really don't care if he hates me, so I just said "You do nothing, you get nothing". He then went into a rant that made no logical sense about how I should have given him full marks. When there was a break in what he was saying I said "what exactly did you do on this assignment then?" To which he responded with simply throwing more insults at me. Eventually he just stormed out.

The others gave him the exact score I did, but I didn't want to drag them into it. His score will be based on all of our critiques, so he'll find out what the others thought of him eventually as well when he gets his zero mark back.

Problem is, the groups were based on what lab group we were in, so I have to deal with him the for my last two labs.......Fantastic.

That sucks Remi I hate having to deal with partners who do absolutely no work, and they hate you because of what they did/didn't do themselves.

@Remi, You'll love life after uni.

Just keep your calm as you always do (great job, btw) and do your part as best you can and nobody will be able to knock you down.

I opened the door to the garden and an ugly spider literally fell down between my feet and scuttled into the corner by the sideboard.

I did however manage to kill it with a spray - as much as I love animals, I'd rather have a hundred flies in the room than one ugly spider between my feet.

Just got interviewed for the paper, and had a few things up in my school's annual art show too. Cool stuff.

And I have a stupid amount of homework this weekend. Ugh. Also means I'll need to be working my butt off on my birthday. Whoo.

Thats no good sj. Yeah colds suck like that, but most times when i am sick I don't feel much like eating anyway.

Well today was Mother's Day here, so we went over to our Aunts to have a family lunch. Being a cheese ball I just got my momma some flowers Had sushi and nando's chicke for lunch, which is about as godly a combination as you can get.

Did anyone else do or are doing anything for mother's day?
