Same here with all sorts of games. I sometimes get bored of normal play and use cheats to spice things up a bit.

AoE was my very first PC game, I also remember specificaly that you could put in the CD-Rom in the CD-Player and play the soundtrack (once you skipped the first one).

It should do. I discovered that when I opened up the media player and it accidently read the cd Rom I left in :p

You can do it with sim city too, I think, although Im not sure which one. I only ever went on it to unleash robots and meteorites. The Castlevania for PS1 also had that feature, it was annoying because my sister would put it on all the time and its not the best music in the world!

Simcity. Thats a game I miss. but again for the more ridiculous aspects of it, rather than the game itself. I'd always create massive cities (with very poor infrastructure) and then create a bunch of natural disaster to occur. Was a good way to kill 2 hours.

I remember playing the predecessor to simcity, Simtown.... now thats an old game. Basically a much simpler version of sim city as the area you controlled was much smaller. Rather enjoyed it.

I was always try to figure out what was the deal with the sims creator's obsession with llamas scratch

SimCity 4 is amazing, if a little limiting. SimCity Societies is also interesting. But, like you Remi, I'd make massive cities then destroy them. Although I very much focussed on Infrastructure for my cities.

Sim Society or simcity 4?

Simcity 4 you could drive little vehicles and do small missions like, driving a school bus to school on time, or getting a ferry to all the ports on time.

Don't know about Sim Society. I bought the game when it came out, and the cd didn't work Sad

Stay away from SimCity Societies, it was made by a company called Tilted Mill Productions and is pretty much an insult to the whole sim city franchise. You basically plop down building by building and as you go, you "transform" it into a specific type of town, unfortunately, it's tedious and doesn't allow for proper, dynamic micromanaging.

@Ark: There was a game for the N64 called Blast Corps that allowed you to drive various vehicles and destroy everything on the map. I very much enjoyed that one. Smile

I wish they'd put effort back into the Sim City franchise again. I liked the Sim city series more than the actual sims.

You can wait till the llamas come home for another proper simcity game. Maxis, as we know it is just a shadow of its former self and the franchise pretty much died with SC Societies.

There's still City Life XL, but that contains so much micromanaging, I nearly died of boredom waiting for my first towns to get anywhere near prosperous.

lol, The Sims. I stopped at 'Living Large'. If you know your Sims titles, you'd know when that was released.

In Sim City 2000, you controlled a bulldozer where you can bring down trees (which would incite protests) or demolish abandon buildings. I loved having a town where 3/4 was either low income or abandoned. It was a Flint 2, I suppose.

I DL'd MAG today for the PS3. Makes COD look like Super Smash Brothers w/ guns.

I think that's the one I mentioned earlier - Sim City 2000.

Yep, that's it. Just googled it. I thought we could smash everything with the bulldozer, but seems I was wrong. ^_^

I was quite young when I played it, so I cannot remember much. I remember I had fun, though, looking at people walking around my weird looking towns. Razz

I think I'm psychic. I was recently watching a play-through of Crysis on YouTube and was thinking it would be fun playing a game set in Jurassic Park where you can explore the facilities and fight off one or two dinosaurs along the way.

It just so happens that TellTale Games has made a new adventure set right after the first film, which is due to be released this month (April 2011). Shocked

It'll only be an episodic adventure game, similar to Back to the Future, but it still is Jurassic Park.

I just went to the local gamestop and picked up a copy of Crysis 2. Man that game is awesome I just spent the last 2 hours playing it... until I realized I was supposed to do something like 20 minutes ago and went to go get on that.

The Singleplayer is alright but the Multiplayer is most fun part.

I think multiplayer modes are much more fun. Mainly because they are actual people and a little unpredictable, unlike most AI. Adds alot more hours of gameplay I think!

I bought the new Final Fantasy Dissdia 2 game yesterday. I was real happy that I was able to transfer the data from the first dissdia game into the new one. Now some of the characters are wayy more powerful then some of the others. XD

Whaaaa....?

I want more advanced race options, like number of laps in Single Race / Tournament Races. I came up with a good track design for it too. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

I want a better frame rate. C'mon SCE Liverpool, do WipEout fans proud and get us to at least 80 FPS!

Plus some new tracks, and MAYBE even a new team? Just to liven things up a bit Very Happy Maybe a new weapon, like another rapid-fire one, or reintroduce something like the Shuriken from Wipeout Pulse again? I loved that thing.......

It's safe to say I'll be watching SCE VERY closely during E3. If the new game gets announced, I'll be one of the geeks queuing overnight to get it on release day

I just want more customisability, and possibly, just possibly, a track creator.

I don't care about the soundtrack as I use my own playlists on every game that let's you.

In WipEout Pulse you could get a skin editor from Sony Very Happy You could download the custom PSP ship-skins from the WipEout Pulse site. Something like a ship editor would be win Very Happy Or create-a-team if they worked hard.

Make ships from pre-loaded parts, design logos, paint ship, design adverts, create name.....and save! I'd love that Very Happy

But yes, Sony will be on my E3 watch-list now. Hopefully they'll retain the Fury ships, as I prefer most of them to the originals
