Congrats Very Happy That's great news!

Pity about the examiner though, still, that makes the pass even better Wink

Got my raw marks for my Science modules, which are equivalant to an A. Also got 92/100 in R.P. so that's definitely an A*.

Happy overall, and I'm waiting for my friend to collect my other results from school since I'm abroad.

Urgl. Too much going on at one times. I wish that uni subjects would co-ordinate so that assignments and tests wouldn't all be so clustered together, but thats not realistic considering how many subjects are available in the course. The next two weeks will be nothing but exams and assignments due.

Also moving next friday to our new house. Part of me is going to miss my room with the paint falling off the ceiling and door without a handle that won't open up unless you use an excessive amount of force, which is how I lost the handle in the first place. But aleast my new room isn't beige awesome

Well done Trick.

Don't forget your blown up Edward poster. I'm sure you'll miss the people staring into your room when getting dressed, and Reyes barging into your room all of the time too Razz

I'm going to be an emcee (mistress of ceremonies) for a wedding in two weeks. Kind of nervous and it's hard to think up jokes and stuff to say too.

Ah, blessed youth that keeps me from doing stuff like that out of grown-ups' sense of caution Mr Green -sounds tough. Sure you'll be able to think of some ice-breakers tho.

Sometimes just saying you're 'terrible with these kinds of things' and letting out a seemingly nervous girlish laugh before starting can make it not be terrible...makes sense? Warms the audience up for you. Worked at the few weddings I've been to, anyway Razz

Oh don't worry. I got my Edward poster laminated and put in a special box label Fragile. I'd never forget it. Very Happy

And If I ever have the inkling to embarrass myself by having people watch my change, I'm in luck. My room is at the very front of the house. All I have to do is open the curtains and never again will anyone in the neighborhood look at me the same way. Razz As for Reyes barging into my room. I somehow feel, even with my lock that won't change. He'll find a way to bug me.

Have fun at the wedding. If you need cheesy, incredibly lame jokes, you know where to find me. awesome Unsure

Have a good time at the wedding, Vektrix.

Remi - Let us know how the new house works out, when the time comes. Moving can be a little annoying but when you settle in a nice place, you'll be quite happy. ^^

Sakiara - Congrats on that. Let us know the jokes after. Razz

I met my new piano teacher last Monday. I was relieved to see that he seems to be a very nice guy. I've been worried all summer that I might get some grumpy old badger or something for a teacher.

I never had a piano teacher. Learned it myself. When I learned Guitar though, I had to have an instructor so I could learn hand movement and how to break your skin so you can play chords (which I still can't do).

Been messing around the features on my Keyboard. Composed a little medley that almost choked me up. Was a bit ashamed. I equate it to someone who laughs at their own jokes.

I learnt to play a keyboard my self too, but when you see someone that's been practicing piano with instructors for years, you don't fare to them. At least, I don't.
I mostly needed it as a second instrument to guitar songs; if they ask me to play Mozart's seventh symphony or something, there's no way I'll no where to start. I hardly read sheet music, for starters.

Actually I found the guitar very very easy to learn with only a book. I can't play that fast, but I just learnt the basics, downloaded tabs for every Modest Mouse song I know and this helps me practice.

I think it's always a good idea to have a teacher. I noticed that I didn't improve any way near as fast during the summer as I did during spring when I had a teacher. Part of the reason, I believe, is that I will make sure to practice harder when I know that I have to learn to play one or several songs by the next time I meet with the teacher; I'm not very good at setting up goals for myself. But I also learned a whole lot of musical theory from him, explained in a nice and pedagogical way. And things that a book can't do, is observe how you play, tell you how you can improve in certain parts, and pick homework that will be the most useful for you.

Today was very interesting, in my Advanced Biology class we dissected a shark. I couldn't force myself to slice open the shark, so I had my partner do it while I took notes. Laughing

Woke up this morning and experienced Vertigo for the first time that I can remember. So I closed my eyes and meditated till I can feel my head slow down. Went back to sleep to see if I could nap it off.

Woke up 30 min later and got out of bed. Momentarily lost my equilibrium. Kept leaning forward. Actually fell forward at one point. I just walked around and the Vertigo disappeared and the equilibrium harmonized. Very weird feeling.
