Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
Today was a pretty good day for me. Got a new console... Nintendo Wii!
Well I was shocked that my parents casualy bought it without even saying anything. I thought buying a console would be more...formal.
Anyways, I am loving it so far, but I need some more games. Well, until I get few I will stick with the Wii Sports pack. XD

Just logging on to announce that our Internet at home is gone, has been since thursday. And our phone as well. So I won't be able to access the Internet except at school until it's fixed, which I have no idea when it'll be. So I'll be gone for probably a few days.

D: gone! That's bad. Well hope it gets fixed in a timley manner
@MAC: Yaaaay Wii! Lol, there are a ton of fun games, I suggest Okami, wii party and any multiplayer party type thing really. The wii sports is a lot of fun though, especially boxing!
Oh and I would suggest Monster Hunter Tri... but that's me being bias

Working on a song with Lindsey Stirling, should be a good product.
Having a very busy month ahead of me, but I've never felt so relaxed. Odd feeling.

I have decided to start creating extincts again. Although i will be using my older creations as a basis, I will be sharing as Vekoboy.

When I start sharing I will post my first shared creations in the relevant threads.

Nice Vek. I kind of miss creating things but it takes way too long. I think I'd draw something instead of making something in Spore though.Vektrix wrote:I have decided to start creating extincts again. Although i will be using my older creations as a basis, I will be sharing as Vekoboy.

So the wedding went awesome. Everyone said I did amazing as the mistress of ceremonies (emcee). So I guess I did good heh. I got a lot of compliments on my dress too.
So this weekend I'm actually looking forward to just lazing around for once. We'll see, I'll probably end up going out!

My mom always listens to music while she's cooking dinner, usually something lame. Today I swapped her Keith Urban (eugh) CD with a Soundgarden one. I don't think she even notices.

Urgh, since moving house I've gotten on average 5 hours or less sleep per night. Finally getting my week long mid semester break at the end of this week. I'm going to go into hibernation to catch up on the many hours of sleep I've lost.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
Well basically on my break now, but there is no rest for the weary. Gonna paint my room in my break. But I can decided on a colour and the paint swatches don't make it any easier as their are thousands of shades of the same colours. Who knew Beige could have so many variations

Oh for God's sake! Last week they told us our Internet would most likely be fixed early this week. But now it's "with luck, before next week!". With luck - we all know what that means: at least another week before it's fixed. Apparently it's not even anything complicated, so why does it have to take so long...
2 weeks without Internet connection today. That's hardly very 21st century, wouldn't you say?

I agree there Damnagoras, I am getting an engineer to visit on monday because my connection has been dropping out. It took them 7 weeks to realise that it wasn't my Laptop, Cordless Phone or any of MY equipment causing the issue. They discovered the line was unstable. They have done some soft changes to improve it and it seems to fine at the moment, but the engineer is gonna check for any hard issues.
On another note, I am going mad in Spore making Theropods

My mom's friend from England is here for a visit with her best friend from Germany, who - living in England since - used to be neighbors with the Middletons back when her daughter and Catherine were a baby.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
So apparently as 1 am this morning there was a shooting/house robbery not 2 streets away from here.
It could have happened anywhere and its not an indication of this area being unsafe, but still having only lived here a week its not the best way to get settled into the neighborhood.

Re: User Announcements (Part IV)
Finally it's back! I'm now reconnected to the Internet, so my life can get back to normal. And life feels even more complete now that the bakery where our family's favorite bread comes from have new owners, after the last ones having gone bankrupt.
I've really missed all those little things you use the Internet for nearly every day: translating some word; briefly looking something up in Wikipedia; googling ways to, say, improve your self esteem; watching relaxing youtube-videos. None of them is irreplaceable or necessary for survival, but you get so used to having such a vast collection of knowledge and entertainment so close and available to you.
3 weeks is longer than any one man should have to live without the Internet.
-----
So many great youtube videos from my subscriptions to watch! Yogscast, InTheLittleWood, paulsoaresjr, david64yt... Where do I start?!

Indeed the internet is a marvelous thing, but at the same time a scary thing. I too find it hard to go without internet as alot of people would. Hard to believe how within the space a of a decade people have become reliant on the internet (for varying reasons).
And its always good to start your day watching a bit of Yogscast

Today after a week of sanding, delays, undercoating and more delays, I finally was able to paint my room.
I have pictures of my room before hand, but haven't taken any of after. I'll probably post them for comparison once I take some pictures.

Voice chatting with Red_Indigo is pretty much the funniest thing ever. Except...she doesn't have a mic, so I'm just talking to myself. ಠ_ಠ
